TK Kirkland on Mike Epps "Fight", Nore, Boosie, Lil Durk, Aries Spears Sep 27, 2026
    Show notes

TK Kirkland returns to VladTV to discuss Boosie's $600,000 pardon scam, Rod Wave, Lil Durk's acquittal, Charleston White, N.O.R.E., Aries Spears, and the business lessons behind some of hip-hop's biggest recent stories. TK reacts to Boosie's 60 Minutes appearance about allegedly losing $600,000 to consultants who promised access to a presidential pardon. TK emphasizes the importance of knowing exactly who you're doing business with and "putting a face to the money," while Vlad discusses why Boosie appears to have been the victim of a scam rather than a participant in wrongdoing. They also break down Boosie's dispute with Rod Wave over a reported $100,000 payment connected to song samples. TK argues that money should always be respected regardless of where it comes from, while Vlad examines how an artist's perception of their value can differ from what the market is actually willing to pay. The conversation then shifts to Lil Durk's not guilty verdict in his murder-for-hire trial despite multiple witnesses testifying against him. Vlad and TK discuss the possibility of future RICO charges, civil litigation, and how an acquittal doesn't necessarily mean the end of someone's legal problems. Vlad also explains why he resumed working with Charleston White, revealing that the relationship has become more profitable than his previous arrangement with Boosie. He addresses his ongoing feud with N.O.R.E., the Carmen Bryan lawsuit, and why he believes podcast appearances should involve formal agreements when both parties promise to appear on each other's platforms. Finally, TK and Vlad discuss taxes, business expenses, keeping your word, controlling your ego, and why professionalism and financial discipline become increasingly important as success grows. They also look ahead to the upcoming Aries Spears conversation and whether old tensions can finally be resolved.

    Show notes

Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl of Washington, DC lobbying firm J.M. Burkman and Associates sit down with VladTV to answer Boosie Badazz’s claims that he paid $600,000 for help pursuing a Donald Trump pardon and was scammed. The pair deny wrongdoing, saying they were paid for advocacy—not a guaranteed pardon—and argue Boosie’s federal gun case, sentencing timeline, alleged new legal issues, and later arbitration filing complicated the effort. They also respond to the 60 Minutes report, disputed text messages naming Laura Loomer, Mike Johnson, Erica Kirk and others, and comparisons to Bradford Cohen’s successful pardon work for Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. The conversation expands into Trump’s pardon process, DOJ pardon counsel, Joseph Schwartz’s commutation, lobbying ethics, and their past controversies involving robocalls, voter suppression cases in Michigan and New York, FCC fines, Politico’s LobbyMatic reporting, and Jacob Wohl’s securities case.

Trap Lore Ross Breaks Down Lil Durk's Case After Attending Entire Trial Sep 22, 2026
    Show notes

Trap Lore Ross returns to VladTV to discuss the death of Chicago rapper Bloodhound Q50 and break down the surprising outcome of Lil Durk's federal murder-for-hire trial. Ross and Vlad first react to Q50 being killed at just 22 years old after he was shot inside a Tesla outside a Chicago gas station. They discuss his rise alongside the late Lil Jeff, his reputation for claiming involvement in multiple killings, and the numerous street conflicts surrounding his career. Vlad reflects on previously interviewing Q50 and warns young artists that success doesn't erase unresolved street problems. The conversation then shifts to Lil Durk's trial, which Ross attended in person. Durk was found not guilty on five counts connected to the murder-for-hire case involving the death of Lil Pab, while co-defendants Dee Dee and David Lindsay were convicted of stalking resulting in death. Ross explains why he believes prosecutors presented significant circumstantial evidence but ultimately failed to eliminate reasonable doubt surrounding Durk's direct involvement. They examine key evidence presented during the trial, including testimony from Vonnie, travel arrangements allegedly made for individuals involved in the shooting, and flights reportedly purchased using Durk's American Express card. Despite the acquittal, Durk's legal problems may not be over. Ross and Vlad discuss severed charges and a potential future RICO case involving additional alleged murders and attempted murders, including the attempted killing of Quando Rondo. They also examine whether additional defendants could cooperate with federal prosecutors before future trials. Finally, they discuss the possibility of a civil lawsuit from Lil Pab's mother, where the burden of proof would be lower than in the criminal case.

Former Norteño Shot Caller Mario Sanchez on Lil Durk, Keefe D, Prison Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

Mario Sanchez returns to VladTV to discuss his life story, prison politics, gang culture, major criminal cases, and the lessons he's learned after transforming his life beyond the streets. Mario begins by discussing his upcoming book, scheduled for release on September 15, which chronicles his upbringing in San Francisco, years behind bars, transition into mortgage banking, financial success, and eventually losing much of what he built. He reflects on why people must outgrow the mentality of their youth if they want to create lasting success. The conversation dives deep into Mario's experiences as a former Norteño shot caller at New Folsom Prison, where he says he was responsible for 40 to 50 inmates on C Yard during the late 1990s. He explains prison hierarchy, controlling territory, improvised weapons, and the extreme methods inmates use to move contraband while avoiding detection. Mario and Vlad also discuss several high-profile criminal cases, including the Lil Durk murder-for-hire trial and Keefe D's case. Drawing from his own experiences, Mario explains how informants and cooperating witnesses can dismantle entire organizations and discusses large RICO prosecutions involving Norteño street gangs. The conversation expands into the psychology behind street violence, with Mario arguing that many life-changing crimes are committed by young men who lack maturity or are under the influence of drugs. He also shares his perspective on the death penalty in extreme cases and the importance of strong evidence before imposing irreversible punishment. Finally, Mario addresses the longstanding conflict between the Mexican Mafia and Nuestra Familia, arguing that Mexican American communities would benefit more from focusing on larger issues affecting their communities rather than continuing generations of internal gang warfare.

Nicholas Irving: Rinse and Repeat War News, No Iran Deal, Bin Laden Full Interview Sep 20, 2026
    Show notes

Former Army Ranger sniper Nicholas Irving joins Shawn Prez on VladTV to discuss the ongoing Iran conflict, military intelligence, the reliability of government narratives, and growing concerns over national security. Irving argues that prolonged wars can become a cycle of repeated headlines and shifting objectives that eventually exhaust public attention. Drawing comparisons to Afghanistan, he questions whether the U.S. has learned from past nation-building failures and warns that a ground invasion of Iran could become an even more difficult and costly conflict. The conversation also examines claims that Iran could be close to developing a nuclear weapon. Irving expresses skepticism toward intelligence used to justify military action, pointing to past failures surrounding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and questioning how much current intelligence is driven by legitimate security concerns versus political pressure. Shawn and Nicholas also discuss conflicting accounts from Robert O'Neill and Matt Bissonnette regarding the mission that killed Osama bin Laden. Irving explains how the "fog of war" can cause members of the same operation to remember fast-moving combat events differently without necessarily meaning one account is intentionally false. The discussion then turns to domestic politics, political rallies, government surveillance, and whether Americans are safer today than before 9/11. Irving argues that increased division and the possibility of coordinated domestic attacks present serious challenges, while also cautioning against jumping to conspiracy theories surrounding recent criminal investigations.

Lawyer Bradford Cohen on Getting Kodak Black & Lil Wayne Pardons from Trump Sep 19, 2026
    Show notes

Criminal defense attorney Bradford Cohen sits down with VladTV to break down several high-profile criminal cases while offering an inside look at defense strategy, federal prosecutions, and the realities defendants face inside the justice system. Cohen discusses the Lil Durk case, questioning the prosecution's interpretation of Durk's travel around the time of his arrest and explaining why witness credibility could become critical for the jury. He also revisits his longtime representation of Kodak Black, including Kodak's federal weapons case, repeated probation issues, and Cohen's efforts to secure a presidential commutation after raising concerns about Kodak's treatment at Big Sandy federal prison. The conversation expands to the murder trial of Nima Momeni in the death of Cash App founder Bob Lee. Cohen analyzes the self-defense argument and questions aspects of the prosecution's presentation of physical and video evidence. He also reflects on the YSL case and YNW Melly, discussing whether moving quickly toward trial can sometimes benefit a defendant before prosecutors have additional time to strengthen their case. Cohen then explains why he rarely wants clients testifying in their own defense, arguing that jurors can become distracted by personality and credibility issues instead of focusing on whether prosecutors proved their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Finally, Cohen and Vlad discuss attorney ethics, excessive legal fees, federal felony convictions, prosecutorial tactics, and the process behind seeking presidential pardons and commutations. Cohen emphasizes that a defense attorney's responsibility should be protecting the client's best interests rather than maximizing billable hours.
