The Truth Is Out — and So Is Dan Farah: The Age of Disclosure Hits Up+Adam Nov 21, 2025

Show notes

Is humanity ready to hear the truth? In this episode of Up+Adam, Adam Montiel welcomes Dan Farah, the director and producer of the groundbreaking new documentary The Age of Disclosure. This isn’t your average UFO conversation. This is testimony from 34 insiders across the U.S. Government, military, intelligence community, and even the Senate floor - names like Rubio, Gillibrand, Clapper, Mellon, and Fravor, speaking on the record about what they know, what they’ve seen, and why the time for secrecy is over.

Dan shares what it was like to make this film in complete secrecy for over three years, the shocking truths uncovered, and what disclosure really means for the future of humanity. With high-level access, bipartisan voices, and verified government witnesses, The Age of Disclosure reframes the UAP conversation from fringe speculation to urgent public awareness. This episode goes deep into the cultural, scientific, and spiritual implications of what it means to finally admit… we are not alone.

The Age of Disclosure is now streaming worldwide on Prime Video and playing in select theaters in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Meet the Cast: Celebrating the 50-Year Tradition at The Great American Melodrama Nov 20, 2025

Show notes

Today on Up+Adam, we’re stepping behind the curtain and straight into the holiday magic.

In celebration of The Great American Melodrama’s 50th anniversary, Adam sits down with four of the vibrant performers lighting up the stage this season: Joshua Kenebrew, Anjewel Lenoir, Rollins Mosley, and Kelly Brown. From backstage bloopers to standing ovations, this episode dives into what makes TGAM’s Holiday Extravaganza so iconic, so heartfelt, and so hilariously human.

You’ll hear what it’s like performing for packed holiday crowds, what goes wrong behind the scenes and how they save it, and why the Melodrama continues to be a beloved Central Coast tradition after half a century. Whether you’re a theater kid, a comedy fan, or just someone who needs a dose of joy this season, you’ll find it here.

Fifty Years of Rocky Horror, Told by the Woman Who Was There Nov 19, 2025

Show notes

Even if you've never seen a frame of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, this conversation is one you won't want to miss.

Adam sits down with Pati Rock, the wife, creative partner, and now legacy-keeper of the legendary rock photographer Mick Rock. Mick captured some of the most iconic images in music history — Bowie, Queen, Iggy, Lou Reed — and was the only photographer given full access during the filming of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025.

In this intimate and unforgettable conversation, Pati shares what it was like to walk beside a man whose lens defined an era, how the new book Rocky Horror: Behind the Scenes of a Cult Classic came to life, and the powerful, creative ways she stays connected to Mick through her own art.

This isn’t just a look back. It’s a living, breathing love story wrapped in art, music, and the magic of cultural history.

From Shiftin’ Gears to Shifting Lives & Sharing Meals: How Paso Serves Its Community for Thanksgiving Nov 18, 2025

Show notes

Every Thanksgiving in Paso Robles, something extraordinary happens long before most people sit down to eat. Centennial Park transforms into a full-service restaurant complete with hosts, servers, menus, and real plates for anyone who needs a warm, dignified meal. No judgment. No questions. Just hospitality, humanity, and a whole lot of turkey.

On this episode of Up+Adam, Adam Montiel welcomes two community pillars: David Kudija, who has been carving turkeys and leading the steering committee for decades, and Jimmy Purdy, local business owner and host of Gearhead Radio on KPRL. Together, they help anchor an effort that now serves over 1,500 meals every year. What started with one woman, Mildred Wilkins, her pots and pans, and a simple belief that "The Lord will provide", has grown into one of the most beautiful grassroots traditions on the Central Coast.

We talk about legacy, leadership, service, and the deeper meaning of Thanksgiving. Plus, Jimmy shares what it is like running an auto repair shop that puts values first and why showing up for your team and your town matters more than ever.

Jingle Jam, Surf and Storms and Saving Thanksgiving Nov 17, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of Up+Adam:

Breaking & Entering Jingle Jam lineup and details for December 11 in downtown SLO

A deeper look at LA’s Palisades Fire and the questions still hanging over it

Pismo Beach’s Surfing for Hope Longboard Classic and how it supports local cancer patients

Nipomo’s new bronze memorial honoring the real "Migrant Mother" and her story

Central Coast rain outlook to start the week

Thanksgiving timing tips, stomach saves, and how not to be the problem at dinner

This one is a full holiday plate. Adam kicks things off with breaking news on this year’s Breaking & Entering Jingle Jam, happening Thursday, December 11 at Libertine Brewing in downtown San Luis Obispo. He walks through the lineup so far - Damon Castillo Band, KB of IMVA, Dan Curcio of Moonshiner Collective, Josh Rosenblum, Jon Millsap, Michael Venia of Carbon City Lights, and Brianna Lee and Josh Barrett from B and the Hive - and how the night ties into making Christmas magical for a local family who really needs it.

From there, we hit a run of Lofi Headlines that start heavy and land right here at home. Adam breaks down new scrutiny over how the most destructive fire in Los Angeles history really started and whether it could have been stopped days earlier. Then it is straight to the pier as top longboard surfers roll into Pismo for the Surfing for Hope Longboard Classic, chasing World Surf League spots and raising money for local families fighting cancer, with Adam talking about why this crew is so close to his heart. We wrap that block in Nipomo, where the community just unveiled a bronze memorial to Florence Owens Thompson, the woman in Dorothea Lange’s famous "Migrant Mother" photo, and what it means to literally anchor that story in local soil.

Because it is that kind of week on the Central Coast, Adam also runs through your rain pattern for the next few days so you know when you are dodging showers and when you might actually see the sun. Then we get into Thanksgiving damage control: when to actually serve the meal if you want to sleep that night, why skipping breakfast backfires, and a rapid fire list of "do not be that person" moves at dinner. From showing up empty handed and hovering in the kitchen to serving lukewarm sides and running out of wine, this episode gives you a cheat sheet for keeping the food hot, the vibes warm, and the group text calm.

Ain’t Trying to Be Tim McGraw’s Nepo-Nephew: Timothy Wayne on Breaking Out Without Breaking the Bloodline Nov 13, 2025

Show notes

This episode of Up+Adam features rising country artist Timothy Wayne, whose new single “Good Ole Boys Girl” is already gaining traction. He carries a famous last name and a powerful connection. His uncle is country icon Tim McGraw, but the conversation goes beyond music and into what it means to build a career under the weight of legacy.

More than just a country story, this episode explores what it’s like to have an "in" that can open doors but also raise questions. When someone comes from a high-profile family, the assumption is often that success was handed to them. This conversation dives into what happens when the pressure isn't less, it's more. It is about proving yourself, showing up with soul, and earning every step. Country fan or not, this is a story anyone can connect with.
