After Don’s father gets saved when Don is in high school, his parents put him in a Christian high school for his senior year, and Don gets saved. He goes to a Christian college, where he’s called to the mission field. But World War II interferes. He’s invited to pastor a church while he’s in graduate school and meets Martha. They marry. Don becomes assistant to the president of a Christian college, which seems like a detour. But God has plans. After Don goes to Japan on a mission survey trip, the couple go there as missionaries. Don helps found a Japanese Christian college and radio station. After 22 years he then helps with the world evangelism conference. Then he became a pastor again. Now with the Lord.

Fred and Janey marry after college, and he pursues his love of acting. They move to Chicago where he buys a Great Dane dog and does well. He gets roles on “Unshackled!” But when hard times come, he keeps feeding the dog even though his children go without things. Angry at his fate, he talks with Jack Odell and Genie Price who urge him to receive Christ. He reads the Bible and prays for salvation. Convicted about the dog, he goes to a pastor, admits that he sold the previous dog that was dying, and then gives away his Great Dane to the man. Janey and daughters profess faith in Christ.

Percy’s stepfather takes the family to church where they all profess faith when he is about ten. He sings in the choir and is an honor roll student in high school. But gangs terrorize him, and he goes to live with his grandparents in Chicago. There he falls under the sway of drugs and gangs. He sells drugs and is arrested, charged with a felony. He spends two-and-a-half years in prison, goes back to the gang and commits more crime. Re-arrested, he hears the gospel and commits his life to Christ. After prison, he goes to PGM and learns to serve. Now in Bible college.

When he is a baby, Max Forman’s father dies in Russia, so his mother brings the children to Philadelphia to live near her Orthodox Jewish parents. Proud but poor, Max becomes a coppersmith in the Naval shipyards when World War II comes. He marries Evelyn and they have a daughter. He rides to work with Tony, a Christian who witnesses constantly. Then Max changes jobs and the rides end. After he gets a car they drive past Tony’s house, stop by and hear more scripture. The next week Max and Evelyn stop by and end up praying for salvation.

Kevin repeats a prayer at age nine and thinks he is saved but grows cold to God. As a teenager he starts drinking. A bad accident nearly kills him but he doesn’t repent. He starts using drugs, including cocaine and Meth. He lives with Debbie and they have a son that he neglects. He’s arrested and spends 7 months in jail. His parents pray for him, but he ruins his father’s business. Released, he starts going to church but keeps using drugs. He becomes a trucker. At revival in church he finally receives Christ and he and Debbie marry. Now in ministry at church.

Until age six Eric is raised by his grandmother. He is molested several times, then his mother and stepfather take him to Watts in L.A. where he goes to Bible Clubs. He stutters badly, is ridiculed and bullied so he forms a gang, then joins the Crips at 13. He defies his abusive stepfather who leaves home. Eric’s mother drinks too much. He meets his real father and goes back to Arkansas several times. He drops out of school. Many deaths on the streets and in the family leave Eric with fear and he seeks his Bible teacher who leads him to Christ as the first part ends.

After his salvation Eric smokes pot and struggles with demonic oppression until he repents. He goes to a Christian leadership training ranch in Kansas where he learns humility and trust in the Lord after some conflict with students. Then he goes to Wichita as an urban missionary. He dates Andrea but both waffle about commitment, she as a victim of incest, he because of his gang background and stuttering. They marry but his job losses create marital discord. They separate and he tries counseling. After two years they reconcile and adopt two babies. His stepfather calls to ask forgiveness

John learns drama and zest for life from his mother, who dies when he is 14. He joins in the Navy, returns home and goes to drama school in New York City. He works at Saks but returns home after five years. His father disdains acting, which John pursues, frequently changing jobs. He goes to Bible study and hears about a Jesus that his liberal church doesn’t teach. He prays for salvation. His father dies and the first part ends as he sees the need to choose between acting and following Christ.

Spinal Meningitis as a toddler leaves David with A.D.D. and he is given Ritalin, a drug that leaves him by turns disruptive or zombie-like. He is eleven when his dad dies, and at 13 he’s put in a home for disturbed youth. He feels rejected, runs away, addicted to drugs. He commits burglary, goes to prison and when he’s released he goes to California. For 13 years his is a life of crime, drugs and prison. He returns to Ohio and another four years of drugs. After he steals a computer from a job, he’s arrested. Alone in a cell, God speaks to his heart and he discovers that his purpose in life is to know and serve God. He gets a degree in counseling and now helps troubled youth at a Christian home for youth.

3028 Chris DiGiacomo – Part 2 Sep 27, 2026

Chris goes to college but joins a fraternity where he drinks and gets into immoral behavior. For five years he fails to go to church and drifts away from God. He is miserable but doesn’t know why even though he has a good job and home. He meets Jennifer and they live together. His mother keeps telling him to go to church. Finally, he goes, is convicted and recommits his life to Christ. Jenn is saved and they marry. Chris witnesses to his dad who refuses to pray, but repents later with a pastor. Chris goes to Bible college and is preparing to pioneer a church in Boston.
