    The Maternal Health Crisis & How You Can Advocate for Change with Marlie Willer Apr 18, 2023

    In episode 25 of the United SHE Stands podcast, we sit down with Marlie Willer to talk about the Maternal Health Crisis in our country, the advocacy work she is doing to improve it, and how you can help the cause.
    Marlie Willer is an experienced trial lawyer and maternal health advocate. Throughout her career, she has advocated for children and families in over 18 states across the country who suffered birth trauma.

    Marlie seeks to educate and build awareness concerning maternal mortality and morbidity in the United States, and to take action to improve the overall health and safety for every family. As a mother herself, Marlie has a great appreciation for the confusion and concern that the parents of children injured at birth face. As a practitioner, she aims to comfort families during this difficult time while advocating aggressively in court on behalf of her clients.

    IRL RN: Trump Indictment - What's Actually Going On Here? Apr 14, 2023

    In episode 24 of the United SHE Stands podcast, we debut our first episode of our new series called IRL RN (in real life right now)! These are going to be quick episodes on a current event that are released outside of our normal scheduled episodes on Tuesdays.     Life as an American Muslim Woman with Fatima Habbiyyieh Mar 21, 2023

    In episode 20 of the United SHE Stands podcast, we sit down with Fatima Habbiyyieh to talk about her life and experiences as an American Muslim Woman.
    Fatima Habbiyyieh is a 28 year old data analyst working in higher education and resides in Akron, Ohio. She’s a fellow woman in tech and loves it! She loves walking and doing yoga, and watching the game show network with her mom and sister. As an American Muslim woman herself, she leads a Muslim women’s group at the Akron Mosque. Her passion is helping people, whether that’s teaching people new technologies or helping people with career prep, resume building, interview tips, etc. She also loves to listen to people and be there when they need someone. Last but not least, she is a cat mom to a kitten named Autumn.
