In today’s episode, Kat and Jasmine chat with special guest Tiffany Remington. Tiffany and her husband Caleb are on an IVF journey, and they are huge advocates for rare diseases, mental health, and infertility. Caleb has cystic fibrosis and Tiffany is a survivor of abuse. Their core purpose is to break stigma and promote healthy dialogue and self-care.

Tiffany shares her experience of pursuing IVF during a pandemic with an immunocompromised partner, and how she has worked to heal the traumas of her past and find strength through her TTC journey.

When you share publicly that you are having difficulties trying to conceive, one of the first things that people usually say is “have you tried…”

Just a quick google search of ‘infertility issues’ will result in a whirlwind of information including various methods and contradicting tips that claim to up your chances of conception. In addition, there’s the advice of others that is often coming from a place of love... but is still not always supportive or helpful.

In this episode, Jasmine & Kat share the different forms of conception intervention they have tried, as well as important practices they implement to nurture their mental health during their fertility journeys.

Today’s honored guest is Dr. Loree Johnson, a licensed marriage & family therapist with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Loree specializes in women's mental health and reproductive health. She helps clients overcome emotional challenges that come with infertility including pregnancy loss and emotional trauma.

Dr. Loree shares her expertise on overcoming miscarriage and grief and her own personal experiences of loss. Dr. Loree is not only a therapist, but she is also a part of the TTC community.

Grief is a healing journey that has no end date, and Dr. Loree shares a message of hope, resilience, and honoring your emotions through the experience of loss.
