Ep 57 The Old Fort Apr 08, 2022

Show notes

I'm on the search for a new co-host so I invited Angel, a follower of mine, to chat with me today as a sort of audition. I'll have several more followers and a few podcasters as guest co-hosts over the next few weeks as I look for just the right fit! Unfortunately, I've received enough audition requests just by posting it in my Facebook group so I am not accepting any more. It pays to be a member of the True Hauntings Facebook family!
Angel and I discuss Castillo de San Marcos, which is the actual name for what St Augustine, Florida locals call The Old Fort. It's a very haunted spot in my hometown and definitely worthy of a spotlight! Angel also discusses some spooky things that have happened to him personally. Pretty interesting stuff! A big thank you to Angel for coming on the show and having a spooky chat with me!

Side note - There is an echo of my voice throughout this episode that I was mostly able to get rid of but you may hear it slightly, from time to time. I hope this isn't too much of a distraction from our amazing guests! This is never happened before and I hope to stop it in the future. Thanks for being patient, spooky friends!

Ep 52 Haunted By Vlad Mar 04, 2022

Show notes

Our True Hauntings Patrons chose to hear about haunted locations associated with Vlad the Impaler. I talk about his actual castle, not the one most people think he is associated with. I also talk about Targoviste, the area where he famously displayed 20,000 impaled people. Lastly, I tell you about a curious little pond that has an interesting connection to Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler).

Ep 51 The Hat Man Feb 25, 2022

Show notes

I discuss The Hat Man, a black shadow figure who wakes people in the middle of the night, attacks, and torments them. There are many theories about the Hat man and a few forms that he takes. We discuss all of them in this episode and I explain why I think The Hat Man is a paranormal entity and not merely sleep paralysis.
I also give a shoutout to my Patreon supporters, who I appreciate so very much! If you want to join them in supporting this podcast and blog, visit my Patreon account and see what goodies you can get for becoming a patron of True Hauntings! Thank you!!!

Ep 48 Witch Trial Tests Feb 04, 2022

Show notes

Brick and Cindy talk about the horrific tests women were put through to prove they were witches. Most of these are not even passable and all of them are torturous.
Article referenced in this episode:

This is our last episode together since Brick needed to get a "real job" and start full time work. She may still guest host on occasion but join me in wishing her all the best! She is still in the Facebook group as an admin and interacts with us when she can. Love you, Brick!
