In this episode, I discuss two points of frustration at work: 1. BS that we find ourselves unnecessarily involved in, and 2. Being treated with disrespect. I give you some things to think about and language to help you focus on your priorities and professionally defend yourself without being labeled defensive or angry black woman.

*Season 2 Remix: Likeability, The Bane Of Black Women at Work*

Since I’m moving across the country and starting a new job, I’m giving you the best of season 2…edited by Chris. Great content, more entertaining.

This is Episode 4 from Season 2 titled *F*ck Your Likeability: Just Be Your Black A$$ Self*

In this episode, Tiffany and I discuss the hard reality that likeability and relatability at work is what gets you promoted and how being black and woman makes gaining likeability that much harder in white male-dominated corporate America.

Raise your hand if you are struggling or have struggled with likeability and relatability at work….struggled so much that you were passed over for promotion or you were pushed out of the company.

I would say this episode is for you, but it’s actually more for the companies and managers that need to, stop hating us, recognize us and set us up for success.

A little over a year ago, she has started a new job, relocated across a number of states only to be set up for failure. Now, she tells us what has happened since then and what she is up to now. It’s amazing what a difference a year can make.
