Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Petros Papadakis Unfiltered: Sinking Hills, Greek Soup & College Football Truths Jan 10, 2026
    Show notes

Petros Papadakis kicks things off with one of his classic observations—“tapered on both sides”—but what does it actually mean? From there, the conversation rolls through Southern California geography as Petros breaks down Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, and why some of those areas are literally sinking. Conway floats the idea of rich guests pooling money to buy racehorses, which leads to questions about the “low end” of wealth, Greek Avgolemono (egg-lemon chicken soup), and other unexpected turns.

Later, Petros talks San Pedro remodels, dentists, and proudly claims membership in the no-cavity club. The sports talk heats up with Ducks vs. Hoosiers, followed by a deeper look at how Indiana managed to turn its football program around. A mix of humor, local insight, and sports analysis—classic Petros, start to finish.

🤖 AI Everywhere, Robots Doing Laundry & The Question Every New Californian Is Afraid to Ask 🌴 Jan 09, 2026
    Show notes

We dive headfirst into CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where this year’s Consumer Electronics Show makes one thing crystal clear: A.I. is officially running the show. From smarter tech to mind-blowing automation, the future is no longer coming — it’s already here.

Then things get wild with the next generation of robots, including machines that will one day do your laundry, help build cars for Hyundai by 2028, and even power the world’s first autonomous “thinking” car. Lasers, robotics, and A.I. collide as we break down what’s real, what’s coming, and what might sound like sci-fi but isn’t.

We also check in on the weather as high winds continue to impact mountain communities like Wrightwood and Santa Clarita.

And in a lighter turn, a California transplant from Tennessee joins the conversation with some culture-shock questions that spark instant debate: Are speeding tickets even a thing here? Why do we say “the” before freeways? Do Californians pronounce their T’s? And seriously… where are all the bugs?

🚀 Astronauts Evacuated From Space, Tragedy at Home, Disney Emergency & the Permit Nightmare No One Is Talking About 🚨6 HR 3 Jan 09, 2026
    Show notes

NASA makes history after announcing it will return four astronauts home early in the first-ever medical evacuation from the International Space Station, raising questions about safety, preparedness, and what went wrong in orbit.

Back on Earth, tragedy strikes much closer to home with a deadly shooting in Sylmar stemming from a family dispute, ending in a murder-suicide that shocks the community.

Sports and headlines collide as rumors swirl around Travis Kelce’s possible retirement, and we pivot to a lighter but timely moment wishing Dean Sharp — The House Whisperer — a happy birthday before diving into one of Southern California’s biggest ongoing issues: rebuilding after devastating fires. Dean breaks down the growing controversy over permits, why hundreds of millions of dollars aren’t going where people think they are, and just how expensive — and complicated — rebuilding has become.

The conversation continues with serious concerns about whether the flood of rebuilding plans could lead to mistakes in places like Altadena and the Palisades, plus clarity on ADUs, temporary tax relief, and how housing policy is trying to keep up with demand.

And just when you think the day can’t get stranger, emergency crews are forced to evacuate people off the Disneyland Monorail after it’s stuck in place for more than two and a half hours — proving even the “Happiest Place on Earth” isn’t immune to chaos.

Space, tragedy, housing headaches, and Disney drama — all in one unforgettable hour. 🎙️✨
