    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

USA! USA! USA! World Cup is a hit in the U.S. of A! Jun 20, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (6.19)

Conway kicks off the hour in full World Cup USA mode as the U.S. beats Australia 2-0 and heads to the knockout round. USA! USA! But the celebration gets interrupted by John Kobylt’s Boyle Heights warehouse fire, which reignites after the wind shifts and causes another flare-up.

Then the crew heads to Washington, D.C., where World Cup fans packed the National Mall for a massive watch party. Conway also takes on the controversial Nike USA home kit, with fans saying the wavy red and white stripes look more like vintage prison jumpsuits or chain gang uniforms than a World Cup jersey.

Later, the hour turns serious with the latest on an armed and dangerous CHP pursuit suspect tied to a double homicide in Pomona.

The hour wraps with Conway trying to become a real FIFA fan and buy tickets on SeatGeek — only to have the site think he’s a robot. And the prices are wild: the cheapest ticket to USA vs. Turkey is around $2,100 for the worst seat, while prime seats in section C108, Row 22 are going for $5,550 to $8,000. Soccer fever is here, and so is sticker shock.

Trending Keywords: World Cup USA, USA vs Australia, knockout round, FIFA World Cup, National Mall watch party, Nike USA kit, SeatGeek, USA vs Turkey tickets, Boyle Heights warehouse fire, John Kobylt, CHP pursuit, Pomona double homicide, Conway Show, funny podcast

Star Wars, World Cup Fever & Fire Flare-Ups Jun 20, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 2 (6.19)

Conway kicks off the hour with the one and only Neil Saavedra in studio — now officially “Flaco” after dropping 27 pounds in two weeks following bariatric sleeve surgery. Neil breaks down the new world of sipping, portion control, and eating dime-sized bites while Conway reacts the only way Conway can.

Then the crew gets into the average weight of men around the world, Neil accidentally absorbing World Cup fever, and Foosh taking “as the crow flies” way too seriously. From crows flying 20 to 30 miles per hour to measuring distance like a “sparrow fart,” the conversation goes full Conway.

Later, the Boyle Heights cold warehouse fire reignites for a third time, while Neil reveals he is building a remote-controlled R2-D2 in his shop. That launches the crew into Star Wars talk, Disney buying Lucasfilm, the massive value of the franchise, C-3PO weight loss goals, Andor confusion, and why Popeyes is actually named after Gene Hackman’s character from The French Connection.

The hour wraps with yet another Boyle Heights warehouse flare-up, because apparently this fire has more comebacks than a Star Wars sequel.

Legendary TV Director James Burrows Passes! Jun 20, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 3 (6.19)

Conway kicks off the hour with the latest from Boyle Heights, where LAFD officials and Mayor Karen Bass held a press conference after the massive cold-storage warehouse fire reignited for a third time in just days. Officials warn residents to stay inside, keep pets indoors, wear masks if they have to go out, and use available shelter options if they want to leave the area.

Former L.A. County Fire Captain Steve Kreeger joins the show to break down why this fire is so complicated. From solar panels on the roof and possible lithium-ion battery issues to petroleum products, black smoke, ammonia refrigeration systems, and frozen food inside the warehouse, this is not a normal industrial fire.

The crew also explains why the Lineage Logistics warehouse is such a major part of the food supply chain, with refrigerated storage, blast freezing, and port-centered cold-chain logistics. But after days of fire, smoke advisories, and shelter-in-place orders, all that food is likely destroyed.

Later, Conway gets into outrageous World Cup ticket prices, with quarterfinal seats starting around $3,700 and final tickets in New York reportedly hitting $10,000. The hour wraps with the news that legendary comedy director James Burrows, the mind behind classics like Cheers and Friends, has died at 85.

Trending Keywords: Boyle Heights fire, Lineage Logistics, cold storage warehouse, LAFD, Mayor Karen Bass, Steve Kreeger, smoke advisory, shelter in place, solar panels, lithium-ion batteries, ammonia refrigeration, World Cup tickets, FIFA 2026, James Burrows, Cheers, Friends, Conway Show

USA vs. Turkey for The Knockout Jun 20, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 4 (6.19)

Conway kicks off the hour in full FIFA World Cup 2026 mode with the massive free Fan Zone on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Fans are gathering between 3rd and 4th Streets for supersized screens, food vendors, cultural showcases, and a Capitol backdrop as the U.S. celebrates a huge 2-0 win over Australia to advance to the knockout round — even without Christian Pulisic.

Then FIFA Fan Conway tries to buy tickets on SeatGeek, only to have the site think he’s a robot. And the prices are insane: the cheapest seat for USA vs. Turkey is around $2,100, while prime seats in Section C108, Row 22 are going for $5,550 to $8,000. Soccer fever is here, but your wallet may need a stretcher.

Later, the one and only Neil Saavedra joins the crew after losing 27 pounds in two weeks following bariatric sleeve surgery. Neil talks about learning to sip, portion control, and eating dime-sized bites while Conway reacts to the whole new world of food discipline.

The hour wraps with Neil accidentally getting pulled into World Cup energy, the crew wondering about the average weight of men around the world, and Foosh spending way too much time on the phrase “as the crow flies.” From crow speed to “sparrow fart” measurements, this one goes exactly where you think it will — completely off the rails.

Trending Keywords: FIFA World Cup 2026, World Cup Fan Zone, National Mall, USA vs Australia, USA vs Turkey tickets, SeatGeek, Christian Pulisic, Neil Saavedra, bariatric sleeve surgery, weight loss, as the crow flies, soccer fans, Conway Show, funny podcast

Kia Chase, Pomona Shooting & Gas Mileage Jun 19, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (6.18)

Conway kicks off the hour with breaking pursuit coverage as CHP chases an armed and dangerous driver in a Kia K5 near Castaic Lake, following a possible shooting in Pomona. The chase moves along Lake Hughes Road and toward Lake Castaic, with everyone watching to see if the suspect will finally pull over — or somehow keep going.

KFI News editor Brian Lowe joins with updates from the scene after reports that at least two people were shot on Garey Avenue in Pomona, with their conditions still unknown.

And in classic Conway fashion, even during a serious pursuit, the crew can’t help noticing one thing: that Kia K5 gets great gas mileage. The car keeps going, the chase keeps stretching, and the suspect may have thrown something out the window.

Plus, News Director Chris Little delivers an unforgettable traffic moment: “2 on the 2.”

PIT Maneuver, Carlos Mencia & L.A. Driving Pain Jun 19, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 2 (6.18)

Conway kicks off the hour with a wild CHP pursuit on the 5 Freeway near Castaic involving an armed suspect wanted in connection with a shooting at a Pomona apartment complex. Officers tried spike strips several times before finally hitting the driver’s side near Lancaster. The suspect kept going, but the chase ended with a dramatic PIT maneuver, guns drawn, Code 4, and the s spect in custody. WOW!

Then Conway welcomes Katie Popov, CEO of Rowntree Gardens, an independent living community in Stanton that supports healthy seniors looking for an active, social, and engaging retirement lifestyle.

Later, the crew gets into comedian Carlos Mencia being charged with tax evasion, with prosecutors alleging he failed to report millions in personal and business income between 2019 and 2024.

The hour wraps with a painful look at what it really costs to drive in Los Angeles. Forget $5,000 a year — between depreciation, maintenance, gas, full-coverage insurance, parking, tickets, and traffic fines, the real annual cost can feel closer to $15,000. In L.A., even owning a car comes with surge pricing.

Scots, Scores & Subscription Shock Jun 19, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 3 (6.18)

Conway kicks off the hour with a World Cup spoiler alert and a lesson in how to pronounce Czechia. Then the crew gives major love to Scottish soccer fans, who may be the best fans on Earth after drinking Boston dry, setting a noise record at Gillette Stadium, and somehow partying in a clean, organized way. From drinking kilts to business kilts, the Scots brought the energy.

The crew also shouts out the legendary reputation of Japanese soccer fans, who continue to clean up stadiums, locker rooms, and trash left behind after matches. Plus, a big birthday shoutout to Joel!

Later, the hour turns serious with a new shelter-in-place order in Boyle Heights after a massive fire, concerns over king tides, beach erosion, and dangerous surf conditions along the California coast. Conway also gets into Waymo vehicles creating a neighborhood nuisance in Westchester by using local streets as a staging area.

The hour wraps with the modern financial headache we all know too well: subscriptions to everything. From streaming and apps to food, fitness, software, and mystery monthly charges, Americans are paying more than ever — and Conway asks the big question: how many subscriptions do you actually have?

Trending Keywords: World Cup scores, Czechia pronunciation, Scottish fans, Gillette Stadium, Japanese soccer fans, Boyle Heights fire, shelter in place, king tides, beach erosion, Waymo, Westchester, subscription costs, streaming subscriptions, Conway Show, funny podcast

Podcast Wars, Beach Rules & L.A. Rent Escape Jun 19, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 4 (6.18)

Conway kicks off the hour with new overnight rules at San Diego beaches, where the beaches may not be fully shut down at night, but more than 35 coastal parking lots now face strict closures and time limits. The goal is to cut down on nighttime crime and overnight vehicle habitation, but it raises the classic California question: can we still enjoy the beach after dark?

Then the crew jumps into the exploding world of podcasts. Spotify has listed the best podcasts in the world, and Conway asks the big question: everyone has a podcast now... but why?

The show breaks down the top 10 trending podcasts in the U.S., covering everything from comedy and true crime to daily news, business, history, and celebrity interviews. From The Joe Rogan Experience and Crime Junkie to The Daily, Theo Von, Call Her Daddy, SmartLess, Dateline NBC, Stuff You Should Know, The Diary of A CEO, and The Rest Is History, the crew asks: do you actually listen to any of these?

The hour wraps with the latest L.A. housing trend, as more Angelenos leave core Los Angeles for Long Beach and Santa Ana in search of lower rent and more space. But with longer commutes, rising costs, and each city’s own housing pressures, the big question is whether moving really solves the problem — or just changes the ZIP code.

Trending Keywords: Spotify podcasts, top podcasts, Joe Rogan, Crime Junkie, The Daily, Theo Von, Call Her Daddy, SmartLess, true crime podcast, San Diego beaches, beach parking rules, Los Angeles rent, Long Beach, Santa Ana, housing costs, Conway Show, funny podcast

The Roof is On Fire! Solar-Powered Boyle Heights is Boiling Under the Weight of Fire Jun 18, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (6.17)

In this hour of The Tim Conway Jr. Show, it’s pure LA chaos as the crew urges everyone to shelter in place amid multiple fires, evacuations, ammonia spills, chemical hazards, and solar panels literally sparking up trouble. The big one in Boyle Heights has everyone talking (nominative determinism at its finest?), and it’s made even harder to fight because the rooftop batteries on that giant cold storage facility keep feeding the flames — Oracle Timmy breaks it down. Tim also gives major props to LA Fire Chief Jaime Moore, who apparently can’t decide how to pronounce his own name.

Later, KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade joins the show (twice, thanks to a bad connection) to revisit the terrifying 2013 Christopher Dorner saga — the fired LAPD officer whose deadly rampage and Facebook manifesto had the entire region shaking in their boots 13 years ago.

Anchors and Officers and Carjackers, Oh My! Jun 18, 2026
    Show notes

The Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 2 (6.17)

Former KTLA anchor Glen Walker (now thriving at Fox 11) calls in to talk about getting laid off, landing a sweet per diem anchoring gig, and the beautiful family news that his clan is merging with the Peter Frampton dynasty through marriage — it’s a union of rock ‘n’ roll souls!

In studio is Timmy’s buddy, dashing LAPD motor officer and gun trainer Jason Jacobson, who shares the heartbreaking story of losing his partner in a training accident (shoutout to Jay Leno for stepping up and covering the expenses — Atta boy, Leno!), his take on keeping a gun in the house, and the funny stat that an American flag flying out front often means there’s one inside too.

The crew also revisits the Dorner saga, noting that KFI was the first outlet to name him on air and that Bill Handel got a shoutout in the manifesto. Plus, a chaotic Culver City hit-and-run car chase that injured eight pedestrians live on TV. And with the FIFA World Cup bringing a flood of first-time visitors to the USA, summer plans are getting bumped — but hey, they’re loving every minute of American life!
