**Three Dogs North**

Three Dogs North are Juice, C-Bisc, and Michael Metz. Topics are carelessly selected and poorly researched. The strength of the project lies in the fact that there is no way of knowing its audience. So please come in, grab a seat, and enjoy. Contact the Dogs at threedogsnorth@gmail.com Follow us @ThreeDogsNorth

“Art has a right and a duty, for the sake of realism, to reproduce the human body, and the love of man and woman, as they are in reality, to speak the whole truth about them. The human body is an authentic part of the truth about man, just as its sensual and sexual aspects are an authentic part of the truth about human love. But it would be wrong to let this part obscure the whole – and this is what often happens in art.”

“The discipline of temperance, understood as selfless self-preservation, is the saving and defending realization of the inner order of man. For temperance not only preserves, it also defends: indeed, it preserves by defending. For since the first sin man has been not only capable of loving himself more than he loves God his Creator but, contrary to his own nature, inclined to do so. The discipline of temperance defends him against all selfish perversion of the inner order, through which alone the moral person exists and lives effectively.”

-Josef Pieper, The Four Cardinal Virtues
