- Runway (www.runwayml.com), an AI graphic design and video company, raised a $50m Series C at a $500m valuation; a 150% increase from its $200m valuation Series B in Dec 2021, 13 months ago.

PRE-IPO PRICES ARE IN FOR WEEK ENDING 02 DEC 2022.
OpenSea, a NFT exchange, got crushed this week. That's it ...
Pre-IPO stocks were down 3.81% for the week vs the S&P 500 up 1.14% and S&P 500 Growth up 1.75%. The quarter to date and year to date numbers are similar. OpenSea was down 51% just last week alone. Ouch.

PRE-IPO PRICES ARE IN FOR WEEK ENDING 25 NOV 2022.
A big week for Klarna. SpaceX continues to rip. But overall, pre-IPO stocks underperformed the S&P 500 last week.
Pre-IPO stocks were down 46bps last week compared to the S&P 500 up 1.6% and S&P 500 Growth up 1.1%. Historical periods do not look much better. The S&P is having a great quarter up 12.7% but pre-IPO stocks are still lagging down 1.9% quarter to date.

!!!! PRE-IPO PRICES ARE IN !!!! Pre-IPO stocks were down 0.06% compared to the S&P 500 down 0.60% and the S&P 500 Growth down 1.28%. Pre-IPO stocks are still underperforming MTD, QTD, and YTD too.
Brex had a great week up 24%. Massive. Brex offers corporate credit cards to new businesses. Elon Musk’s SpaceX was up 2.6% for the week too. More on SpaceX in a minute. Airtable was down 9.7%, Discord was down 5.0%, Flexport down 5.0%.

Pre-IPO news for the week of Nov 4, 2022.
Pre-IPO stocks were down 1.65% for the week, per the AG Dillon SIM Index, outperforming S&P 500 at -3.25% and S&P 500 Growth at -5.67%.

Brex was down just under 13%, Databricks down 7%. Carta and Chime were both down 4% too. Stripe was up nearly 5%, Revolut was up 3.7%, and Flexport and Discord both up around 1.5%.
Pre-IPO stock were down 2.02% for the month of Oct vs the S&P 500 up 8.1% and S&P 500 Growth up 4.4%.

Binance enters into letter of intent to buy FTX.
Databricks and Canva make the first CNBC Top 25 Startups for the Enterprise list.
Stipe lays off 14% of staff.

Capital raise highlights for the week;

Project44, a logistics tech company, posted a $2.7b valuation.
Einride, an electric autonomous truck company, closes GE as customer.
Aventon, an e-bike company, books a 195% valuation increase.

AG Dillon Pre-IPO Equity SIM Index was down 0.61% for the week vs another huge week for the S&P 500 and S&P 500 Growth, up 3.92% and 2.12% respectfully.
Flexport was down -8%, Stripe down -7%, and Carta down 5%. Discord was up 4% this week after getting crushed down 9% the week prior. SpaceX posted a solid gain of 2.20%.
