David's Bridal filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week. The Pennsylvania-based retailer at one point claimed one-in-three U.S. brides purchased their dresses in its stores, but it wasn't enough to keep it profitable. It is likely that missteps in management of the company have a lot to do with David's Bridal's decline, but like many other retail chains, it's also facing competition from on line companies as well as changing trends. Stan Lee, Marvel Comics former editor-in-chief and the creator of some of the best known superheroes died on Monday at age 95.
