When I became a mom...all of a sudden I had this feeling of isolation I had never felt before. I quickly recognized about myself that I still need support and friends to be a good happy mom!

In this episode, I open up to you about my journey of finding my mom tribes when we had to move around a lot and how I found my way back to making friends.

Finding your mom tribe is so important and in this episode I also give you 4 ways that you can find your tribe! It's so important you have that support and help as a mom. It's a hard crazy journey we can't do alone!

Episode 29: Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself: A postpartum journey with Allison Hardy Jan 29, 2020

Every mother's postpartum experience is different, but when it comes to postpartum depression, sometimes we only hear about emotions around sadness. Allison had a different experience in how her postpartum depression manifested itself. She talks about how she recognized it and how she started to find ways to manage it all. Her story helps us see the other side of postpartum depression and the hope of gettin out of the funk.

She talks a lot about where her family was at the time it all started and how she started recognizing signs that she may need to do something about it. She's very open about what depression looked like for her and the things she did to help her get in a better place.

Crystalee opens up about her journey and expectations of motherhood and how she started to mold her family and her motherhood into what she envisioned!

She talks about some of the defining moments in her motherhood where she made choices that shaped the kind of example and mother she wanted to be.

In your tip this week for something you can do to gain confidence in your motherhood, Crystalee suggests giving yourself 5-10 min and think if there is something that you can cut out that is not helping me or my family...is there something you can take out? How can you simplify?
