Let’s talk about the business of birth control. You may follow Ricki Lake (yes, THAT Ricki Lake), and know that she is now making documentaries about issues particularly faced by women.
Well this week I had her and her producing partner, and director, Abby Epstein on the show. And damn is this some explosive stuff. What are the health issues, both mental and physical, associated with hormonal birth control? We’ve known about them since the 70s and the subject is still considered taboo, why?
This conversation sounds like it’s gonna be dark, and it has its moments, but all in all, this is a beautiful chat, and I hope you enjoy it.
