Young Frankenstein Episode 41: Bobs Dead Heads diversifies into the brain business May 21, 2018

We begin with Igor peering through the drop box of the local Brain Depositary before he puts his arm through and unlocks the door. He freaks himself out when he opens the door and sees his own arm, still stuck through the drop box. He pushes it back through the slot and closes the door. He then makes his way to the brain of Hans Delbruk. As he is about to leave with the brain, his reflection in the mirror is suddenly lit by lightning, scaring him to the point of dropping the brain on the ground, ruining it. Realizing he still needs to bring back a brain, he grabs the one next to Hans', which has been clearly marked as an AB Normal Brain and "Do Not Use." So, of course, this is the one he brings back to Dr. Frankenstein.

Young Frankenstein Episode 40: What is it with the stores in Transylvania May 18, 2018

The Young Dr. Frankenstein continues to admire the specimen he has created and only lacks an equally impressive brain. Before he can send Igor out on to get the magnificent brain of Hans Delbruk, Dr. Frankenstein notices Igor's hump seems to have moved from one shoulder to the other. Rather than get into a debate with Igor, he dismisses it and sends Igor off to fetch the perfect brain for his creation.

We wrap up the week with our guest, Paul Sullivan, of Sully Baseball who once again joins us on The Wilder Ride.

Young Frankenstein Episode 39: Bare feet should be covered up May 17, 2018

The night constable still wants to have a conversation with Dr. Frankenstein who is doing his best to make it look like the arm of the corpse is his own. We also try to figure out why the constable is wearing what looks to be a World War I Kaiser helmet before our duo is allowed to reload the coffin on their cart. Once they return home, we are treated to the horrific scene of two huge bare feet staring right at us.

Young Frankenstein Episode 38: How did we get onto Keanu Reeves? May 16, 2018

Now that Dr. Frankenstein and Igor have the coffin loaded on the cart, they want to make it back to the castle as quickly as they can without being scene. Unfortunately, they hit a rock in the road, spilling the coffin and the corpse's arms dangle out of the broken sides of the box. Just as they get the coffin back on the cart, a constable walks by and make an inquiry of the good doctor.

Young Frankenstein Episode 37: How did they both get in that hole? May 15, 2018

As soon as the grave diggers leave, we watch as Dr. Frankenstein and Igor make their way to the newly dug grave and begin to dig. Igor seems to approch the task in a more dog-like manner. They eventually manage to get underneath the coffin and push it up onto its side. They then load the casket onto their cart with the rain pouring down and leave the cemetery.

Young Frankenstein Episode 36: Such classics as Linda Lovelace for President May 14, 2018

We continue examining the sketch made by Igor and as they hang it on the wall by one of its corners and they let go, it swings back and forth as we push in to a man swinging on the gallows, newly hanged. From there we head to the prison cemetery where the body has been buried and cross is pounded into place. Dr. Frankenstein and Igor are watching through the gate, waiting for the gravediggers to leave.

Continuing their pedestrian breakfast, the doctor continues to read from his grandfather's notes. He realizes he would need a very large body to make the experiment proceed more easily. After a discussion with Inga over the size of various body parts, Igor presents the doctor with a sketch of what they might need.

Young Frankenstein Episode 32: It's a Scooby-Doo mystery May 08, 2018

The trio realizes there is a light coming from a door from across the bottom of the stairs of the laboratory. They rush inside to try to catch whomever might have been playing the violin, but the room is empty. There does not appear to be another way out.
