This week, Nick Swardson takes a seat in The Wayback! (Check him out on his "Toilet Head" tour). In this episode, Nick takes us back to what it was like growing up in Minneapolis in the 80s. A self-proclaimed "hell cat" of a child, Nick gets nostalgic about a lot of the trouble he got into as a kid, like shooting fireworks out the wayback of his parents' station wagon, and being a classroom terror at St. Paul Central High School. Then Nick and Ryan get into their love of 80s sitcoms, specifically the timeless brilliance of Three's Company and John Ritter. Nick also reminisces about family reunions, his youth sports career, and classic Gen X childhood staples like sneaking out and snow days.

In this episode, Andrea takes The Wayback into uncharted territory, as she gets nostalgic about growing up in China until age 10, and then Vancouver through her teenage years. Born in Shanghai to a family so poor she had to share a bed with one her grandparents, Andrea reminisces about her version of the wayback, which was riding on the back of her grandfather's bicycle facing backwards. She also talks about her regimented schooling in China, from eye massage breaks, to saluting the Chinese flag. Andrea then gets into the challenges of getting accustomed to teenage life in Canada, peeing her pants in school, and hanging out with Asian gangsters!

In this episode, Bret takes us back to what is like growing up in both Florida and New Jersey in the 80s and 90s. Raised by a single mom who was always on the move, Bret reminisces about attending 15 schools as a kid (!), breaking leases as family, hanging out in roller rinks, and the terror of gym "lock-ins." Bret also gets nostalgic about some of the crazy jobs he had back in the day, like making fake IDs, selling speakers out of a van, and breaking into payphones for change. Rachel reminisces about long car trips in her parents Datsun station wagon "barfmobile," summer vacations in Ocean City and Rehoboth, and always wanting to look like Tawny Kitaen and Kelly LeBrock. Rachel also goes in depth about her weird family, spearheaded by her dad who refused to wash anything denim and still uses his Walkman to this day! Then Rachel and Ryan trade stories about trips to Hershey Park in Central Pennsylvania, where Ryan rode the Sooper Dooper Looper, and Rachel's dad got taken away in an ambulance after trying to "hurl" her brother.

He gets nostalgic about riding motocross bikes in the bush, and encountering all types of Outback wildlife such as snakes, kangaroo mobs, scary sounding koalas, and huntsman spiders. Jason then reminisces about other adventures, including almost drowning while white water rafting with drunk adults, getting pinched for shoplifting Castle Grayskull, and unleashing home made nunchucks on his mom's abusive boyfriend. As a former pro skateboarder, Jason also takes us back to his early days playing sports as a kid, and some of his first forays into the world of pro skating.
