In this episode, we cruise by both our childhood homes and share stories about the difficulty of engaging in self-love when you share a room with siblings. Des gets nostalgic about some his family’s first cars like the Plymouth Duster and Mercury Cougar, vacations at the Jersey Shore, and Old TV shows like The Patchwork Family. He also talks about being sent to Catholic boarding school in Ireland as a teenager, and some of the fun and darkness he encountered there. We then reminisce about an iconic hang out spot of the 1980s, the roller rink, and recount the joys of one of the most underrated staples of our childhoods, the above ground pool!
