Black Panther 2 is out and PEOPLE. HAVE. THOUGHTS. Is there actually an intense discourse about this one? I honestly haven't checked yet. I don't prepare for these descriptions and you should know that by now. What else are we doing tonight? Well Brian's out but FEAR NOT! We have not just one, but TWO guests on the show tonight. We're happy to have both Adam Smith and Alex Marzona join us to talk about....well that I don't know either. I don't think they have anything to promote. I don't even know if they know each other that well. But they're on the show tonight and we're going to have fun, dammit!

Christian was unfortunately one of the people who had tickets to the Saturday show that was cancelled due to weather. I mean -- was cancelled because it was a SCAM! That's right! Isn't that what we're all saying? Everyone's been saying for MONTHS that this was Fyre Fest 2.0 and that dangerous winds were obviously going to shut it down and refund everyone's tickets. Just like...just like Fyre Fest, right? Totally the same situation?

TONIGHT: We got our first official trailer/teaser/first look/edited promotional package with images and sound for The Last of Us on HBO! It looks...pretty much exactly like the game. Is that a good thing? Bad thing? Does everything have to be good or bad for us to have a conversation about it? We can talk about the current state of entertainment conversations another time; what else are we talking about on tonight's show? Andor came out. Do we care? I don't know. Brian got a dog. But more importantly, Brian ruined a bit that we were gonna do last week and WE'RE GONNA TALK ABOUT IT.

Hello! We have another show for you. You have another show to listen to. Although, if you're watching on YouTube, then you're watching not listening. Or maybe you just have us on in another tab or something so technically you're still listening? I don't know, man. It's early in the morning when I'm typing this. Gimme a break. What are we talking about tonight again? Okay let's see. I think a couple of us saw Pearl. House of the Dragon is still pretty good. I fell off the Lord of the Rings show a bit, please don't be mad at me. Let's see, what else do we have here? Grand Theft Auto VI apparently leaked so that sucks. I mean, I haven't played any of em. But I love Red Dead Redemption 2. I just got to the part where they force you to shave your beard into a mustache thing for the boat mission and now I'm all bummed because my boy Arthur was growing a MEAN beard the entire game. The Buccaneers are 2-0. Andor reviews are out and everyone's mad about embargos. Embargoes? Embargo's? I don't know. The Angels just won 3 in a row against the Mariners but we're heading for another remarkably disappointing season so who cares. Anyone watching The Patient on Hulu? Show's great. Check it out. Are we going to talk about ANY of the things that I've listed here? Should we start doing rundowns again? Do you guys enjoy when we get toward the end of the show and we're like, "Huh. Good stuff. Yeah, good stuff." Oh! We shot a short film recently! Did we talk about that? Yeah I think we already talked about that. Crap. Oh, the Queen died! Well, she already died. But the funeral was today. I think? Maybe we'll do a Q&A. People like Q&A's, right? Why not? Why am I still doing these stream of consciousness descriptions? I should do bullet points. Yeah that's good. Alright here we go. This is how the show's probably gonna go.

Was the giant text of "EMMYS RECAP" on the thumbnail effective in getting you to click? Anywho, the awards are still gonna be going on once we're live here so we'll be reacting to some of the announced winners and losers and giving our thoughts. Spoiler alert: We didn't win! D23 was also this weekend and we were NOT LET INTO ANY OF THE PANELS! I mean, we didn't try. We didn't even go. We also didn't even know it was happening this weekend. We're not very "in-the-know" is what I'm trying to say.
