This will be the last episode of the year. **dodges thrown objects** With the next couple of Mondays falling on holidays, we thought we'd cram 'em all into this week and bring the holiday cheer to you fine folks! It's been a weird year for our show, but we're glad we're still doing it and we're glad you're still here listening to it. Sigh...today is Monday. It's been two days since "the signing." Two days since Shohei Ohtani signed a 10 year $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a move that was celebrated by pretty much the entire country...well except for Angels fans, and one of them happens to be a co-host of this show. It's been a long weekend for our little Cody. He's received texts, in-person ha ha's, and he was even tagged Twitter/X by people who don't even follow him. As we catch up with Cody during this grieving period, we'll see if Christian already bought himself a jersey, we'll see if the Angels decide to make any corresponding moves whatsoever, and we'll see if the Tungsten Arm O'Doyle meme can finally be retired.

Today is Monday and....okay, here's the deal. Remember last week when we announced the guests and we prefaced it by saying "THINGS COULD CHANGE, DON'T HOLD US TO IT" or something like that? Well, things changed. We were going to be joined by Eric Striffler AND Jake Baldino but Jake unfortunately couldn't make it tonight (he had a very legit reason so everybody be nice) so we have ourselves another Eric special on our hands. I don't know what an "Eric Special" entails and to be honest, I'm afraid to look into that further, but he's here! And we're gonna have fun! So have fun with us while we have fun. Also, GODZILLA MINUS ONE AM I RIGHT?

We'll probably spend a good chunk on Spidey talk with spoilers and whatnot. Christian bravely held down the fort last week and this time around he is ready to take a nap. Speaking of naps. Daylight saving. We're still doing this? I remember when I was younger and I was stoked for that extra hour of sleep. I have two kids now. That extra hour does not exist anymore. Time is stupid.
