Pre-show, Callie starts things off with some bad news. The Skittle challenge from yesterday isn’t really a challenge.
Jeff is grateful for not having any Halloween candy in the house.
Callie is grateful for laptop computers.
Callie and Jeff begin by debating the merits of the movie ‘Hocus Pocus.’ Callie calls it a classic. Jeff reserves (most) comment but suggests the movie should be a drinking game.
Jeff proposes getting a pet communicator on the show … not because of the neighbor, but because of a crazy message he got from a listener who had a chilling experience involving her dogs (one living, one dead) and a pet communicator.
Lots of people honored in our Beautiful Human Alert today, including participants and attendees at a rainy Atlanta Pride Parade, and some awesome students who love their school custodian
We were stumped yesterday trying to define partnership … but one listener did it for us perfectly and we share her wisdom with you.
More horror stories about Grandparents getting scammed. Do we need to have safe words for Nanny and Paw-Paw? Jeff is VERY upset about people trying to con old folks.
A new study says that younger folks have written off twice as many businesses than older people due to bad customer service.
Callie and Jeff argue about whether or not Callie would pay more for good customer service, and then they come together to remind everyone of the ‘random calls of kindness.’
Post-show, excitement because later today the movie trailer for older rescue pups will be filmed.
Hempfusion: CBD is all over the place, but if you don't get a quality product, you won't get the results you are expecting. Hempfusion is full-spectrum hemp CBD, with omegas, terpenes, and other supportive nutrients. These aren't just trace amounts, like some other full-spectrum CBD, but enough Terpenes + Omegas in order to deliver maximum health impact. Use UPSIDE at hempfusion.com for 20% off and free shipping.
care/of: Callie's doctor has been asking her to take vitamins and supplements for years ... but she'd always go to the store, stare at all the options, and leave confused. Jeff loves the idea ... but lots of bottles are inconvenient and confusing, especially in the morning when you're trying to get out of the door. Both of those problems SOLVED with care/of. A 5 minute survey helps you find the right vitamins and supplements. And they are delivered in easy, daily, packets. 50% off your first order here if you enter UPSIDE50 at checkout: www.takecareof.com/
