Pre-show, Callie and Jeff are headed to Ashville, NC to see some leaves and celebrate Jeff’s birthday. What are the must-do things and the must-visit spots while they are there.
Jeff is grateful for winter jackets.
Callie is grateful for here television.
Callie and Jeff want your phone calls. What did you learn as an adult that totally blew your mind. Callie is still messed up learning that some nuts are not nuts, and we want your calls of similar things. 800-434-5454.
You can now get a link to buy Gratitude Journals sent to your phone. Text the word UPSIDE to 555888.
If there is a law stuck in your head … check it. It might not be ‘law’ but rather just a self-imposed rule. Callie felt that fitness of less than 45 minutes didn’t count … so she wouldn’t do a 30 minute work-out or a 20 minute run. This is not a law but felt like it to her. Don’t become trapped by those thoughts.
Tim calls from Australia.
Callie and Jeff are hosting Thanksgiving and Jeff didn’t realize that meant he was cooking the turkey.
Jeff was anxious about getting to the Elton John concert on time and realizes now that was a complete waste of anxiety. Callie and Jeff met a listener and it was awkward.
Callie started the year with a one-word mantra … but then sort of forgot about it. She just rediscovered it, realizes she’s been using it, and life is good. The word: DELEGATE.
Jeff starts a pointless debate, because he already lost, about pictures on Christmas cards.
Post-show, Callie adds insult to injury because the holiday card photo shoot is taking place on Jeff’s actual birthday.
