    In this episode of The Unstoppable Podcast, we’re talking to Hashoshi. He’s a crypto YouTuber and influencer, with weekly educational content on his YouTube channel about blockchain crypto, and technology in general. He’s also our Influencer of the Month for July 2021.

    Hashoshi talks about how he got into making YouTube videos, and where the name Hashoshi comes from. He shares his process for creating videos, how he comes up with ideas and topics, and how long he spends on each one.

    We also talk about how Web 3.0 and decentralization will change things for content creators. How will decentralized platforms filter out harmful content, and will creators be able to make more money compared to traditional platforms?

    Hashoshi also gives explanations for some different common crypto terms and talks about his plans for the future and what’s in store for the space in general.

    64 - Scaling Blockchain to the World with Li Jiang from Harmony Jul 12, 2021

    Matthew explains what the first-ever DAO was and why it was created. We discuss the question, “What do DAOs have to offer?” Are they just glorified Facebook groups? Can DAOs ever replace traditional organizations and corporations, and what benefits do they bring?

    We talk about what we could achieve with DAOs that traditional organizations haven’t managed, and dive into how voting works within DAOs. Matthew shares his thoughts about whether truly decentralized DAOs can ever really work.

    62 - Launching the World’s First Science NFT with Matt Stephenson from Planck Jul 07, 2021

    In this episode of The Unstoppable Podcast, we’re talking to Matt Stephenson, who just sold the world’s very first science NFT through his company, Planck, for $24,000.

    Matt talks about how he got into crypto and his thesis on Bitcoin econometrics, and we discuss the concept of fungibility — what does fungible really mean? Is it black and white, or is there a spectrum? He also shares a fascinating water analogy to help understand the value of NFTs.

    We discuss whether people inherently understand the value of NFTs. Matt introduces the idea of science NFTs and how Planck allows scientists to mint and study their own NFTs, and how this could further science by generating more exposure and funding for projects.

    Matt talks about how he created and sold his own science NFT (the first ever!), and how his PhD in behavioral economics fits into Web 3.0. We also talk about the future of the NFT space.

    Scott talks about the challenges involved in getting people to pay for public goods and preventing freeloaders from taking advantage of them. We discuss where Gitcoin falls on the spectrum of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0.
