**The Town Whispers**

The Town Whispers is a narrative horror podcast, that will tell the many stories hidden behind the fog and the trees and the rain of a town called The Fort – Where Eldritch Terror and Folk Horrors meet. If you’ve found yourself here, you should have taken a left, instead of a right, or looked up, when shadows crept from wells that stretch deep down into the underground of our town. Chapter 25: The Catalyst, and the Key Jun 07, 2022

Show notes

Paul Collins, and Garrett Franklin are at their wits end. Having stumbled through the ancient caverns and tunnels beneath The Fort, they seem no closer to finding their way out, or their purpose for being there in the first place. Plans have been laid by Mother Cyprian, with the help of Dr. Avery, but like all plans that have come before, they rarely go as planned.

Chapter 24: Her Gasping Red Grin Jun 02, 2022

Show notes

Wood will rot or splinter, glass will shatter, metal will bend or break, and everything one day will return to the dust.

The world will one day return to dust, and the dead drying bones of a home, disconnected from the living dream of the world as they are, trimmed and snipped from the wilderness, sawed into lengths and shapes, hammered with iron fangs that bite until rust eventually comes to trim their length - WILL return much sooner.

The safety of a home is false comfort.

Chapter 19: The Queen of all that Dies May 10, 2022

Show notes

The relationship between old friends can be contentious and that is no more true, than it was with Edith Blackleech and Adam. It seems, while Adam was away the Bog Witch Blackleech has been at play, pulling her strings and making moves within The Fort. But then again, how is she any different then the rest? It seems that everyone has their eye on the prize except for Adam

Chapter 18: Truth Dies in Burn's Bog May 05, 2022

Show notes

Adam seeks power in truth, by squeezing that interloping eye known as Edward August Hall for knowledge. Adam has been gone a long time, and last time he was back in The Fort, he'd foolishly assumed that the world hadn't changed without it, but it had. The scheming machinations within The Fort kept on ticking as sure as the sun kept rising, but Adam won't make that same mistake twice.

Chapter 17: The Past and Present Kings of Nothing May 03, 2022

Show notes

There is a place beyond that which can be touch, where those who walk with long shadows stride. Their heels always to the nothing of that place, taking from it, but giving in equal measure their sacrifice to whatever built that palace of inky darkness. That is the domain that Edward August Hall now calls his own, but there are those who know it's cathedral halls better than he.

Chapter 16: Echoes of a Forgotten Name Apr 28, 2022

Show notes

There is a house on the hill, one which has been abandoned for years, but now peering up from where the regular townsfolk live, lights can be seen igniting the domain from the inside, and setting rumors ablaze. Adam still searches for those bits of him and his shadow which were stolen, but what he finds will be someone he wished never to remember.
