Recorded on the eve of England's first ever Euro final, we look back at their darkest day in the tournament when, in the shadow of the Brexit vote, Roy Hodgson's side crashed out to Iceland at France 2016. Oh, how we laughed at the time. Elsewhere, Wales made history, Italy and Germany participated in the worst penalty shoot out of all time, and Portugal and Ronaldo had a shot at redemption. It's Euro 2016 - and the final in our delightful Euro Stories series. Only a few more sleeps now till Euro 2024, and Jimbo and co will be with every night there's a game on. Woof!
Presenter: Iain Macintosh

Executive Producer: Ben Green
With: Stefan Augustsson for Iceland, Rafa Honigstein for Germany, Lynsey Hooper for England, James Horncastle for Italy, Tom Kundert for Portugal, Julien Laurens for France, Kristof Terreur for Belgium, and Tom Williams for Wales

This is the penultimate episode of Euro Stories series, and our timeline has taken us all the way to 2012. This tournament is again co-hosted, with Poland and Ukraine sharing the honours. Now, we wrote and recorded this show in 2021 and a lot has happened in the world since. That's why we don't mention the war or any of the hideous things that have happened in Ukraine in the past two and half years - but do talk an awful lot about two fiendishly taxing groups, Andy Carroll, and a lot of spying.

It's 2008 and the world is obsessed with Barack Obama and Beyonce. Football-wise, we're more interested in events at Austria and Switzerland because it's Euro 2008 and it's great. Yes, there's no England, they failed in the rain at Wembley against Croatia. But there's Spain's tiki taka, Turkey's late late goal scoring, and one hell of a thunderstorm. Oh, and there's the French doing, well, nothing really. It's Euro 2008 and it's here.

We arrive at 2004, the year of Frankee and Eamonn's musical back and forth, the Blackberry, and one of the most unexpected tournaments in Euros history. Yup, we're in Portugal where there are teams on the up, like England, and teams on the down, like Germany. And this time there's a dark horse that no one expects will actually do anything at all. Will we ever learn? This is Euro 2004 brought to you by the voices that lived and breathed it from across the continent.

This is the fourth episode from our Euro Stories series taking you back to classic European championships from the past. It's a new millennium and we've got co-hosts: Euro 2000 is split between Belgium and the Netherlands. Crazy. Some small print before we kick off - this series was first broadcast in 2021 and recorded in the dark days of Covid so some of the audio sounds like it was recorded in a kitchen because, frankly, it was. Enjoy!

While Jimbo and co prepare for the Euros in a few days' time, allow us to take you back to Euro 96 - a tournament that will certainly resonate with listeners of a certain vintage. All together now, It's Coming Home, It's Coming Home, It's Coming Home, Football's Coming...oh.

It's the second of our Euro Stories and we're heading back to Sweden and a far off land called 1992 for a tournament full of twists and turns, and a surprise addition who no one expects much of. Join journalists from across the continent as they relive this contest and its unexpected results.

As Jimbo and Team Totally gear up for this summer's Euros in Germany, we're revisiting the classic tournaments of the past in our most excellent documentary series, Euro Stories. We start in 1988, and you'll hear from experts from across the continent as they share their memories, stories, facts and recall the iconic moments from the tournament. Without a single goalless draw or a sending off, this was a tournament filled with drama and unexpected moments. And orange. Loads and loads of orange

Jimbo welcomes the esteemed panel of James Horncastle, Julien Laurens, Alvaro Romeo and Daniel Storey to take a look at the big hitters at Euro 2024.
Has England’s moment arrived with the talent at Gareth Southgate’s disposal? Or is he not the right man to make the most of that talent tactically?
Are France the only team that can beat France? Or do Portugal have the strongest squad at the tournament?
Elsewhere, we’re looking forward to seeing a Spain side with a different dimension of exciting young wide players. And will Italy’s good record at the Euros in the 21st century continue?
Plus how Toni Kroos has changed everything for Germany and can Xavi Simons become a star for the Netherlands?
Produced by Charlie Jones.

As the domestic season draws to a close, Jimbo is joined by Daniel Storey, Tom Williams and Seb Stafford-Bloor.
Real Madrid are below par but still secure their 15th European Cup with a late rally against Dortmund at Wembley. How do they keep doing it, should Carlo Ancelotti be considered the greatest manager of all time and what’s the deal with Dortmund’s new sponsor?
We look at some of the shocks and trends of last season but wonder whether all this football will lead to a player’s strike next season.
And there’s more silverware up for grabs as Tom takes on Michael Cox in the Inter Totally Cup Final 2024.
Produced by Charlie Jones.
