Season 13, Episode 105 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest concerning safety Terrell Edmunds as it now appears that he won't be re-signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers. We also discuss a free agent safety still on the market who could potentially fill Edmunds' role in the defense.
The Steelers had a large contingent at the Ohio State and Alabama pro days this week so Alex and I discuss who was spotted where. We discuss several of the prospects they likely paid close attention to while at those pro days. We talk about Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Steen and defensive back Brian Branch a lot early in this show. Alex and I move on to spend a lot of time talking about Ohio State tackle Dawand Jones on the heels of his pro day. We wonder if pre-draft process has caused the big tackle to now have a few red flags when it comes to the Steelers.
The Steelers had linebacker coach Aaron Curry at the Wisconsin pro day on Thursday so Alex and I discuss a player he was likely getting a closer look at, Nick Herbig. We discuss a potential position switch for Herbig at the NFL level and if he could potentially be a day-three Steelers' selection due to all the dot-connecting. We also discuss the probability of the Steelers selecting an inside linebacker early in the draft on the heels of their early free agency moves.
Several other pro day sightings are discussed in this show and that includes us talking about who all had been spotted at Penn State on Friday.
Several new contracts have now hit the NFLPA site so Alex and I discuss where the Steelers now sit at on this Friday when it comes to the team's salary cap situation.

Season 13, Episode 104 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers re-signing cornerback James Pierre on Tuesday. We talk about what his one-year deal probably looks like and more.
The Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly shopping tackle Jonah Williams so Alex and I quickly hit on that news and if there is any possibility that the Steelers might have interest in trading for him. We also address the news that the Steelers reportedly had some interest in outside linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel prior to him re-signing with the Miami Dolphins recently.
It's been a busy week once again for Steelers general manager Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin on the pro day circuit so Alex and I recap their trips to Iowa State and Iowa so far this week. We go over the top prospects at both of those pro days and spend some extra time talking about Iowa State defensive back Anthony Johnson Jr. and the probability of him being a Steelers' selection this year.
Tomlin and Khan are at the Ohio state pro day on Wednesday so we discuss that news and where the two might be going on Thursday and Friday. We also discuss the latest Steelers' pre-draft visitor that was made known on Tuesday at the USC pro day.
Alex posted another mock draft on Tuesday so we roll through his seven sections for the Steelers.

In this late Sunday night show for Monday morning, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly coming to terms with unrestricted free agent guard Isaac Seumalo, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles. We discuss what his addition means to the Steelers' offensive line, his play to date as well as his contract.
Alex and I move to speculate what the Steelers' 2023 offensive line might look like following the addition of two guards in free agency. We also have a long discussion about the future of Steelers' guard Kevin Dotson with two new guards being added in free agency.
The new contract details for Steelers defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi are now in so Alex and I break down those numbers and what they mean and especially when it comes to March of 2024. We also have a look at where the Steelers' 2023 salary cap situation looks like heading into Monday.
Alex and I discuss the Steelers expected cash spending in 2023 as it relates to how the team might handle free agency and an extension this offseason. That makes for an interesting discussion as well.
A few of the Steelers unrestricted free agents are signing with other teams so we update that latest news. We also talk a little bit about the Steelers newest addition to their coaching staff in this show.
