    Following a thrilling six-game World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers are champions and FOX Sports has put a bow on perhaps the most unique MLB Postseason in the 25-year history of the network's coverage of baseball.

    On this episode of The SVG Podcast, Brad Cheney, VP, field operations and engineering for Fox Sports stops in to chat with SVG's Director of Digital Brandon Costa about how the unique nature of broadcasting both the National League Championship Series and the World Series from a single venue (Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX) shaped the network's on-site presence.

    Cheney breaks down the details behind the network's camera deployment (which included a staggering number of high frame rate cameras) and how the idiosyncratic set up delivered camera angles that were never before possible at a World Series. In addition, he explains the unique challenges of building an audio mix in this environment and how the crew revolutionized its media management workflow for years to come with the execution of a hybrid-cloud virtualized system that made both those working on-site and those working in various other locations in the country for efficient.
