Frigidaire Portable Ice Maker – Item of the Day Apr 14, 2026
    Show notes

Every day, I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use, or that has been purchased by many members of the audience and which I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Frigidaire Portable Ice Maker. This compact device offers incredible value, capable of producing up to 26 pounds of ice daily. From the moment you fill it, you can expect the first drop of ice (on the large setting) in about 12-13 minutes. Once the cycle begins, my testing shows that you’ll receive another drop approximately every 9 minutes and … Continue reading →

    War, Bitcoin, Oil, The Moon & AI – Epi-3832 Apr 13, 2026
    Show notes

Welcome to another week and this time we lead off on a Monday by taking a look at some of the both big and lesser known news stories that have happened over the weekend. We will lead off with Trump new seemingly crazy plan to block the Strait of Hormuz after demand Iran open it. Is this an unhinged Orangeman thing or is there actually a strategy behind it? Next we dig into an article about China making massive strides in AI and why current US policy is helpless in slowing it down by preventing the export of hardware. So … Continue reading →

You still have time to put in new beds this season but time is running out … Continue reading →

The Case Place Joins MSB – Top Gear at 50% Off Apr 09, 2026
    Show notes

The Case Place is now a supporting vendor of The Survival Podcast and they are doing something that frankly more companies should be doing, taking perfectly good gear that was built for serious use and getting it back into the hands of people who will actually use it. These are hard cases from names you already know like Pelican, Hardigg, and SKB. The kind of stuff built to get thrown around, stacked, shipped, abused, and still protect what’s inside. And they are selling them at 50 to 80 percent off retail. Here’s why that matters. Most of this inventory comes … Continue reading →

Grain to Grass: Breaking the 4th Gen Cycle – Epi-3830 Apr 08, 2026
    Show notes

Today we are joined by Stephen Brass, a fourth generation farmer from northern Illinois who walked away from the conventional grain model to build a regenerative beef operation. Growing up in the Corn Belt meant a steady diet of synthetic fertilizers and heavy tillage. These inputs maintained a status quo while the topsoil literally washed away. For Stephen, the turning point was realizing that the land was not being improved, only managed through chemical dependence. He eventually traded the plow for perennial pastures, transitioning his family acreage into a biological powerhouse fueled by grazing rather than grain. The shift required … Continue reading →

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Olitans T058 Folding Titanium Scalpel. A week ago I reviewed the Olitans T010 Folding Titanium Scalpel and noted that Olitans had some other cool options. The T058 showed up on some of my sales reports so I checked it out and decided right away to order one. Everything that is great about the T010 is also true for the T058 it is … Continue reading →

Understanding Disease Resistant Vegetable Varieties – Epi-3829 Apr 07, 2026
    Show notes

The typical story about disease and vegetables is something like this from the all natural crowd…. Just use compost and good organic fertility, build good soil and it won’t be a problem. Yea, um, about that, look good soil, good fertility and abundant soil life and minerals go a long way to healthy plants, but they don’t eliminate all diseases. They also take time to develop in your garden soil. Some years my beans develop a fungus referred to as rust. Why? It is typical when it is wetter then normal. In those years the same beds are growing jalapenos … Continue reading →

AI is a mirror, it is a leverage tool, it’s a management flight simulator and a leadership training program all in one.
