SuperFlex SuperShow 320 - Won And Done Dec 16, 2024

Show notes

The guys are getting ahead of themselves in this week’s Strat Sesh!

TommyB and SFD are already planning for the Non-Point-Scoring Season, and even focusing on the lens of a dynasty team that won their championship. In dominant fashion. Hubris, much!? But the guys have an agenda here, as they consider the moves that a league champion will make versus the moves a league champion should make. Plus, rookie pick values go head to head with value-insulated vets, rebuilds shift to contention, and a “contender’s class” prepares to enter as rookies in 2025. All that and more on this week’s Strat Sesh!

Show notes

The boys are back for a Strat Sesh, with an eye towards the NPSS!

TommyB and SFD tackle SuperFriends’ questions from Discord, as SuperFlex City prepares for the non-point-scoring-season. Questions focus on roster build in-season – post trade deadline – and player names to target, how to approach QB headcount at the end of the fantasy season, and when/how to move injured elite QBs. Plus, the guys discuss the use of analytics and data, and consider the future of fantasy as WRs fall short of their market demand… and RBs return to power! All that and much more, on this week’s Strat Sesh!

SuperFlex SuperShow 316 - Fun With Numbers: Does Mahomes Matter? Nov 19, 2024

Show notes

Philosophers and Numbers Butts unite in an effort to solve the Pat Mahomes FF mystery!

Absent any pressing Standard Operating Procedures for the week (add/buy/hold Theo & Roschon Johnson!), TommyB brings a true dynasty dilemma to Hogue’s attention. Patrick Mahomes continues to be valued as an elite QB, even when his fantasy production is far from elite. Tommy has the numbers to dissect as the guys attempt to strategize on Mahomes in dynasty leagues. Buy? Sell? What do you do when the (dynasty) QB1 performs as the (points per game) QB13 but is still somehow the (dynasty) QB1? Plus, the effects of front office decisions, WR continuity, overall NFL roster construction, and offensive-minded coaching. All that and more, on this week’s fun-with-numbers episode!

SuperFlex SuperShow 315 - Trade Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace Nov 15, 2024

Show notes

TommyB is back – for good – just in time to help the SuperFriends navigate the late season push!

SFD and TommyB engage in a Strat Sessh thanks to some incredible thoughts, questions, and conversations in the SuperShow discord (join below!). As the fantasy playoffs approach, so does the trade deadline (for all those who observe), so the guys are discussing the strategy around the trade deadline. How to adjust your roster construction? Which players/positions should you target/avoid for a contender/rebuilder? Plus, collecting Infinity Stones late in the season; riding out a good, young player’s lackluster fantasy season; holding draft picks hostage; a failed strategy’s poison pill; and much, much more, on this week’s Strat Sessh episode!
