Show notes

It’s a startup strategy negotiation, on this week’s SuperShow!

TommyB and SFD are talking startup strategy… but with a major twist. The guys are entering into a dynasty startup, co-managing a roster. So this isn’t just hypotheticals, baby! The guys discuss their desired roster build in this real life startup, and consider different scenarios with their 10th overall pick. Who is sticking with their QB heavy strategy? Who is considering a pivot to a more traditional QB build, dictated by league settings? And which players would they consider in the first round if QB isn’t viable? Plus, the RB unfair advantage, hacking WR, the duality of TE, and so much more on this week’s startup Strat Sesh!

SuperFlex SuperShow 335 - Never Change Mar 28, 2025

Show notes

It’s a back-to-the-basics episode, on this week’s Strat Sesh!

TommyB and SFD take a break from exploration and discovery to get back to the tried-and-true. New processes, new analytics, etc., are always important, but there are also concepts that are evergreen… and the guys are out to identify them. Predictive overconfidence and its effect on the market, leaning into luck vs. fringe strategies, striving for efficiency, and missing with humility are important concepts for the current season of the season, and that is unlikely to ever change. So how does a dynasty manager lean in, and how does a manager pivot to these rigid fundamentals? The guys discuss this question, and oh so much more, on this week’s Strat Sesh!

SuperFlex SuperShow 334 - The Rocky Road (to Dynasty Domination) Mar 21, 2025

Show notes

It’s an all-bases-covered QB-focused Strat Sesh, on this week’s episode!

Rocky Petrella (of the DAP Network’s flagship, the Trade Addicts podcast) joins TommyB and SFD to discuss dynasty roster management… and represent a totally different view. Rocky has deprioritized high value QBs for years… to resounding success! But what are the keys to that success when his lineup of Geno Smith and Dak Prescott runs into the Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson buzzsaw? Keep calm and carry on! Plus, dealing with QB injuries, trading with QBX/Arms Race builds, and oh, so much more on this week’s Strat Sesh!

SuperFlex SuperShow 333 - Chris Kluwe (feat. Chris Kluwe) Mar 14, 2025

Show notes

***DISCLAIMER: The individual views expressed in this episode do not necessarily reflect those of DynastyLeagueFootball.com, its staff, or its sponsors.***

Former NFL punter Chris Kluwe joins TommyB and SFD after a video of his peaceful protest and subsequent arrest at a city council meeting went viral. In his post-NFL career, Kluwe has taken on the role of social activist, specifically protecting LGBTQ+ and other marginalized groups. The guys discuss the political environment and the dangers of apathy; taking a deliberate approach to advocacy for marginalized groups; reframing the term “masculinity” and appealing to the male sense of duty to protect, rather than attack and belittle; and the call to action that compels Chris and other activists. Plus, punting to Devin Hester, the importance of fantasy football and football in general, and what we stand to lose without the games. All that and much more, on this week’s episode!
