Episode 195: Ciro Perrone Jan 29, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of the show I started off with some mob news involving members and associates of the Bonanno Crime Family who have a dirty cop on their payroll in Long Island. We then discuss Genovese mobster Ciro Perrone. In the early 2000's a TV show called "Growing Up Gotti" debuted on the TV channel A&E. It was very popular but not necessarily with gangsters. Wiretapped conversations revealed insults being hurled at John Gotti's family calling them various things. One of the gangsters recorded discussing them was longtime Genovese mobster Ciro Perrone. Perrone was a very interesting gangster and lived a colorful life in the Mafia.

Episode 194: Anthony Comello Jan 22, 2025

Show notes

In 2019, Gambino mobster and family heavyweight Francesco "Franky Boy" Cali was killed in front of his upscale home in Staten Island. People in mob circles, aficionados, Mafia experts and law enforcement were curious about the surprising murder. Was a mob war unfolding in New York City? In the end, a person was arrested and it was an unknown 20 something from nearby named Anthony Comello. Who was Anthony Comello and why did he do this? Over the last month, I went to the scene of the crime and spoke to people that knew Comello best. Some of the info in this video came from first hand accounts of people who knew Anthony Comello personally and grew up with him.

Episode 193: Xavier Eboli (Son of Genovese Boss Tommy Eboli) Jan 15, 2025

Show notes

On today's episode of the show I spoke to Xavier Eboli, the son of longtime Genovese mobster and eventual acting boss Thomas "Tommy Ryan" Eboli. This interview was one of the most interesting and complex I've ever done. We talked about Xavier's childhood growing up as the son of a Mafia heavyweight. In addition he talked about knowing Lucky Luciano, his run in's with Vincent "Chin" Gigante and the Genovese Crime Family and the eventual murder of his father. This is for the history lovers. A fascinating and profound interview.

Episode 192: Sammy Gravano Arizona Drug Case Jan 08, 2025

Show notes

We hear a lot about former Gambino underboss and his cooperation against John Gotti and other members of the Mafia in New York City. That said, several years after his cooperation Sammy was given a new lease on life in Arizona. Gravano doesn't talk much about his involvement in a large narcotics trafficking ring involving his family that resulted in a long prison sentence. Let's delve into this case! Some of the info from this video comes from first hand accounts of journalist David Holthouse and the indictments at the state and federal levels against Salvatore "Sammy The Bull" Gravano and his family.

Episode 191: Joe O'Kane Jan 01, 2025

Show notes

In John Gotti Jr's memoir "Shadow Of My Father" he talks very graciously of a person named Joseph O'Kane. Eventually O'Kane would have to pay for these crimes and he was hit with an ultimatum... get out of prison by flipping on Gotti or testify on behalf of Gotti. Today I break down the wild story of O'Kane and his sad end inside federal prison

Show notes

In this brand new episode I sit down with Mike Campi, who was a longtime FBI agent and credited with bringing down the extremely respected Genovese Crime Family with multiple prosecutions. Mike was critical in getting various high level people off the street including Vincent "Chin Gigante, Barney Bellomo and many others. He shared with me many things regarding investigations, wiretaps and so much more. Mike's terrific new book "Mafia Takedown" can be found at bookstores everywhere.
