Missed Connections: St. Louis’ Greatest Love Fails Sep 18, 2025

Show notes

St. Louis “missed connections” get the spotlight — from the Cardinals game (because nothing says romance like a Goldschmidt jersey and zero courage), to the Schnucks pasta sauce aisle (true love bottled in Rao’s), Tower Grove dog playdates (dogs have more game than people), and even a Central West End coffee shop spill.

It’s awkward romance, funny love stories, and meet-cutes gone wrong — basically a real-life rom-com, minus the happy ending. If you like comedy videos, sarcastic humor, and hilarious fails, you’ve found your place with The Rizzuto Show.

The Goldschmidt Ghoster (00:00:13)

He had a Paul Goldschmidt jersey, a Cards hat pulled low, and the courage to… say nothing. She had a great smile and probably actual game knowledge. Instead of a number, he walked away with regret. Classic Busch Stadium love story.

The Sauce Boss at Schnucks (00:01:18)

Nothing says romance like standing helpless in the pasta aisle, crying over marinara. Enter: Mystery Hoodie Girl, handing out Rao’s recs like Cupid with a grocery list. He didn’t get her number, but at least dinner didn’t taste like regret.

When Your Dog Has Better Game Than You (00:02:35)

Boy meets girl. Dog meets dog. Only one party knows how to seal the deal… and it’s not the humans. Two retrievers almost arranged a playdate — too bad their owners couldn’t figure it out.

Latte, Meet Gravity (00:03:45)

Nothing sparks romance quite like a stranger launching a latte all over Kaldi’s. Amid the splash zone, two people locked eyes. She smirked, he chickened out, and love evaporated faster than spilled espresso.

A Reformed Pumpkin Pounder Sep 18, 2025

Show notes

Ever wondered what a pumpkin pounder is? Neither did we, until Rizz brought it up and suddenly the whole crew had to rethink their life choices. Spoiler: it’s less about carving pumpkins and more about being into redheads—and Rizz admits he may have been one… It's ok he’s “reformed” now.

From there, things spiral the way only The Riz Show can. We argue about whether the world needs a Dirty Harry reboot, debate if Free Willy could be scarier as a trash island monster, and confess our undying loyalty to butterscotch milkshakes after the Hi Pointe cruelly ripped them from the menu. Moon tries to sell us on a band called Viagra Boys (yes, that’s real), Rizz relives an awkward run-in with a cop in front of his neighbors, and we even melt down over Simpsons trivia.

I Just Don’t Understand This! Sep 16, 2025

Show notes

Getting old doesn’t happen in one big moment—it sneaks up on you through a series of tiny humiliations, like needing progressive lenses or caring way too much about oatmeal. The Rizz Show crew tackles the big mysteries of life in our latest episode: why toilets only break when you really need them, why the Emmys forgot Hulk Hogan, and why Elton John is now rocking jewelry made from his own kneecaps. Toss in saggy-boob jokes, 90s fashion trauma, and a guy who thought the movie theater aisle was his personal bathroom, and you’ve got another round of classic Rizz Show nonsense.

---

Welcome to another chaotic ride with The Rizzuto Show! The crew covers everything from the Emmy Awards drama to Elton John’s bizarre decision to turn his old kneecaps into jewelry. We break down the fallout from TV snubs, share our brutally honest takes on celebrity gossip, and try to figure out why Hulk Hogan was left out of the “In Memoriam” segment.

But it doesn’t stop there—Rizz, Moon, Lern, and King Scott also face the painful (and hilarious) truth that getting older doesn’t hit you all at once. Nope, it creeps in with small humiliations like stopping for progressive lenses in Vegas, choosing oatmeal over a night out, or realizing that you, "Just don't understand this," new music that your kids love.

Add in some 90s fashion trauma, Emmy pink-eye scandals, saggy-boob jokes, and even a guy who decided the movie theater aisle was his personal bathroom, and you’ve got a classic Rizz Show episode: sarcastic, unfiltered, and all too relatable.

When your rating scale is called the Weinermeter, you know things are going to get weird. Add in awkward celeb encounters, hot takes that nobody asked for, and a questionable fast-food confession — and you’ve got an episode that’s as ridiculous as it is flawless… depending on where your needle’s pointing on the Weinermeter.
