Why Most Affirmations Don't Work Sep 13, 2026
    Show notes

    You can repeat:

    "I trust myself."

    "I follow through."

    "I'm good with money."

…and still feel your entire body going, "Yeah, absolutely not."

    That reaction matters.

Because repeating the "right" words is not automatically the same thing as changing what you believe.

In this episode, Allie breaks down why the same affirmation can land completely differently for two people, what resistance is actually telling you, and how to stop trying to make giant, unbelievable jumps from the belief you have now to the one you wish you had.

    You'll hear:

    • Why positive affirmations can sometimes make you feel worse instead of better

    • Why what you already believe affects how an affirmation lands

    • The difference between forcing a new belief and building a believable bridge toward it

    • Why "make it positive" is less useful than "make it accurate"

    • How resistance, discomfort, and the immediate "yeah right" response give you valuable information

    • Why Allie loves pairing affirmations with EFT tapping

    • How your language and your behavior can work together to create evidence for a new identity

    • Allie's process for using affirmations more intentionally: Choose it. Check it. Bridge it. Feel it. Prove it. Repeat it.

    Affirmations aren't magic words.

    But they aren't useless either.

    They're a tool.

And instead of trying to bully your brain into believing something that feels miles away, you can intentionally practice language that supports where you're going while paying attention to everything that comes up along the way.

So don't throw out your affirmations.

Get better at listening to what happens when you say them.

Watch Your Mouth: Your Words Wire Your Brain Sep 06, 2026
    Show notes

    Something happens…

and within about three seconds, you turn it into a statement about who you are.

You procrastinated → "I'm so lazy."

You overspent → "I'm terrible with money."

You missed the workout → "See? I can never stick to anything."

You felt awkward → "I'm just not confident."

    The behavior happened.

But then you made the behavior mean something about your identity.

In this episode, Allie breaks down why the language you repeatedly use about yourself matters, how your self-talk can keep rehearsing an old identity, and what to do instead without forcing yourself into fake positivity or affirmations you don't actually believe.

    You'll hear:

    • Why your brain is listening to the language you repeatedly use about yourself

    • The difference between describing something you did and turning it into who you are

    • How phrases like "I always," "I never," "I'm just," and "that's how I am" can reveal the identity you're still rehearsing

    • What research on self-talk and emotional labeling can teach us about the way language affects your brain

    • Why replacing one negative statement with a positive statement you don't believe isn't the answer

    • How to use Allie's three-step process: Catch it. Separate it. Recode it.

    • How to choose language that is accurate, believable, and points toward the version of you you actually want to become

You do not need perfect thoughts.

You do not need to monitor every sentence that comes out of your mouth.

But what you repeatedly say about yourself matters.

Because you can consciously be trying to become more consistent, confident, or intentional while spending the rest of your day casually narrating yourself back into the identity you're trying to leave behind.

So for the next 24 hours:

    Watch your mouth.

    Catch it.

    Separate it.

    Recode it.

And start noticing which version of you is getting the most airtime.

The Woman You're Trying to Become Is Keeping You Stuck Aug 30, 2026
    Show notes

You might be trying to become a woman who isn't actually you.

Not because wanting to grow, change, or become a new version of yourself is wrong.

But somewhere along the way, "becoming her" can turn into chasing a fantasy woman who never gets overwhelmed, never loses momentum, always follows through, has the perfect routine, and apparently has no inconvenient emotions or actual life.

And every time real-life you doesn't behave like fantasy-you would, it feels like evidence that you're failing.

In this episode, Allie breaks down the difference between chasing an idealized version of yourself and actually discovering and becoming the woman you're here to be.

    You'll hear:

    • •How your future self can quietly become another impossible standard

    • • The difference between your fantasy self, your current self, and your true self

    • How to tell the difference between something you genuinely desire and something you think you "should" want

    • Why you might be trying to rewire yourself into a life that isn't actually aligned with you

    • What happens when you separate who you are from what you accomplish, produce, and do for other people

    • Why becoming her was never supposed to mean becoming perfect

    You're allowed to want more.

You're allowed to grow, expand, reinvent yourself, make more money, change your body, and create a completely different life.

    But the question is:

Is the woman you're trying so hard to become actually you?

What if the goal of a daily ritual wasn't to complete it? Aug 23, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, Allie walks you through the Daily Reprogramming Ritual she created for herself years ago and now uses throughout her work inside Becoming Her Collective. But this isn't another 45-minute routine to add to your list and then feel guilty about when you inevitably miss a day. The point is repetition. Familiarity. Giving your brain repeated experiences of the thoughts, emotions, images, language, and behaviors you want to become more automatic, without turning "becoming her" into another obligation you rebel against. Allie breaks down the five pieces of the ritual:

    • Visualization: mentally rehearsing experiences and identities before you live them
    • EFT/tapping: working with the emotional charge underneath a pattern instead of trying to positive-think your way over it
    • Scripting: giving the identity you're becoming specific language instead of leaving her as a vague idea
    • Self-talk: intentionally changing the voice that gets the microphone in your head all day
    • Body + embodiment: taking the work out of your head and physically practicing what it feels like to treat yourself differently
She also explains how to adapt the ritual depending on your time, energy, and capacity, whether that means doing the full practice, choosing one or two pieces, or giving yourself five intentional minutes. Because missing Tuesday doesn't erase what you did Monday. And a five-minute ritual you willingly return to for a year will do a hell of a lot more for you than a perfect 45-minute ritual you force yourself through for 11 days. If you've ever known who you want to become but struggled to make that version of you feel natural, familiar, and real, this episode is for you.

The Pattern Behind "I'll Start Monday" Aug 09, 2026
    Show notes

    "I'll start Monday."

After vacation. Next month. When things calm down. When the kids go back.

It sounds like a timing problem.

But if Monday were actually the problem, Monday would have worked by now.

In this episode, Allie breaks down what your brain is really looking for when it keeps reaching for a fresh start, why starting over can feel so much better than picking back up in the messy middle, and the important difference between restarting and returning.

    You'll hear:

    • Why your brain loves a clean starting line

    • What "I'll start Monday" may actually be doing for you emotionally

    • How this pattern fits into the Circle

    • Why a new date doesn't change an old subconscious pattern

    • The difference between restarting and simply returning

If you've spent years cycling between "this time I'm really doing it" and "I'll start again Monday," this one will make the pattern make a whole lot more sense.

Why Motivation Keeps Failing You (And What It's Actually Meant to Do) Aug 02, 2026
    Show notes

If you've ever caught yourself saying…

"I just need to get motivated again."

    …this episode is for you.

In this conversation, Allie challenges one of the biggest misconceptions in personal growth: that motivation is supposed to create consistency.

Instead, she explores why we've been asking motivation to do a job it was never designed to do—and why waiting to "feel motivated again" might actually be keeping you stuck.

You'll also hear two ideas that completely reframe the way you think about change:

    • Why your conscious decisions aren't enough to create lasting transformation

    • The difference between your goals and your defaults

    • Why motivation fades (and why that's actually good news)

    • The subconscious reason you keep returning to familiar patterns

    • The question that can change the way you approach growth forever

This episode isn't about trying harder.

It's about understanding why you've been expecting the wrong thing.

When You Know What to Do But Still Don't Do It Jul 26, 2026
    Show notes

You already know what to do.

Drink more water. Move your body. Stop scrolling so late. Spend less than you make. Post the content. Have the conversation. Follow through on the plan.

So why doesn't knowing create change?

In this episode, Allie breaks down one of the biggest misconceptions in personal growth: the belief that your conscious decision should be strong enough to overpower years of subconscious familiarity.

Your conscious mind can make a promise in an instant.

Your subconscious mind keeps the patterns you have practiced.

That is why you can genuinely want something, clearly understand what needs to happen, and still find yourself repeating the same defaults when life gets stressful, busy, emotional, or uncomfortable.

    You'll learn:

    • Why knowing what to do is not the same as being wired to do it

    • How your subconscious defaults take over when motivation fades

    • Why familiar behaviors often win, even when they are not helping you

    • How the start-stop cycle forms

    • Why one motivated decision cannot overpower years of repetition

    • The difference between your goals and your defaults

    • What to notice the next time you say, "I know what to do, I just don't do it"

If you struggle with procrastination, inconsistency, self-sabotage, motivation, discipline, habits, follow-through, or repeatedly starting over, this episode will help you understand the deeper pattern underneath it.

The Version Of You Who Keeps Waiting Jul 13, 2026
    Show notes

In this quick audio-only episode, Allie talks about the version of yourself you keep waiting for before you finally follow through.

The version with more energy. More clarity. More motivation. More time. More emotional capacity. A calmer house. A cleaner schedule. A better mood.

But what if that version of you is not the starting point?

What if she is the result?

In this episode, Allie breaks down why so many women keep waiting for life to calm down, their nervous system to feel ready, or their capacity to magically expand before they start becoming the woman they want to be.

This is not about forcing yourself, ignoring your limits, or pretending real life is not real. It is about learning how to stop making your transformation dependent on perfect conditions and start building evidence in the life you actually have.

If you keep telling yourself you'll start when you feel more ready, more motivated, more supported, or more regulated, this episode will help you see the waiting pattern clearly and take one small honest step from where you are right now.

Why You Want It So Bad Until It's Time to Do It Jul 05, 2026
    Show notes

You can want the change so badly.

You can want the routine, the body, the business growth, the clean house, the calmer mornings, the better relationship with yourself, and the version of you who actually follows through.

And then the moment comes where you have to do the thing.

Suddenly, everything in you starts resisting.

In this episode, Allie breaks down why you can deeply want something and still feel resistance the second it is time to live it. This is not because you are lazy, broken, undisciplined, or secretly don't want it badly enough.

A lot of the time, resistance shows up because wanting the outcome and living the identity are two very different experiences in the brain and nervous system.

You'll learn why your brain pulls you back toward what feels familiar, why resistance does not always mean stop, and why the thing you want can still feel heavy, annoying, inconvenient, or weirdly impossible when it is time to actually embody it.

Allie also shares how your brain builds identity through repeated evidence, why willpower alone does not create lasting change, and how to stop using resistance as proof that you are failing.

If you struggle with self-sabotage, procrastination, inconsistency, overthinking, motivation, discipline, follow-through, habits, routines, or starting over again and again, this episode will help you understand what is actually happening underneath the pattern.

The Moment You Talk Yourself Out of Follow-Through Jun 28, 2026
    Show notes

There is a tiny moment most women miss.

It happens before you "fall off."

    Before the Sunday night reset.

    Before the shame spiral.

Before you tell yourself you'll start again Monday.

It's the moment where you start negotiating with yourself.

You said you were going to go on the walk, post the content, check your money, go to bed earlier, do the workout, have the conversation… and then your brain starts building the case for why today doesn't count.

In this mini episode, Allie breaks down why that tiny moment matters so much, how your brain uses repeated choices as evidence, and why follow-through is not just about discipline. It's identity. It's nervous system familiarity. It's learning how to meet that exact moment differently.

This episode will help you start noticing the place where you usually talk yourself out of the thing, so you can stop turning every hard moment into another restart.
