The Price Of A Mile: Portland 5000 Pre-Meet Sep 16, 2019

Show notes

THE PRICE OF A MILE IS BACK. Moh Ahmed, Lopez Lomong and I sat down before the Portland 5,000 that took place at the Nike campus on Sept. 11. We were paced by Moh for a majority of the race before I finished in 12:58.10. Lopez ran 13:00.13 and Matthew Centrowitz ran 13:00.39. We all dipped under the 2020 Olympic standard of 13:13.50. This is sort of an audio diary about how we felt before that race, how we felt coming out of the training camp, gambling in the sport, their expectations for the world championships in Doha. These are just some of the thoughts before one of the greatest moments of our lives. Definitely mine. So this is a really special podcast for me. Oh...We also talk about the social media beef with Paul Chelimo. ▶ Follow us: twitter.com/CitiusMag instagram.com/citiusmag facebook.com/citiusmag ✩ Connect with Woody twitter.com/KincaidWoody twitter.com/POAMpod instagram.com/priceofamile 📷 How Lao/ IG: @howlauphotography 👔Biz Inquiries/Write Us: contact@citiusmag.com
