In this episode, Laura and Hywel discuss diversity in tech teams, as well as some of the common mistakes companies make when trying to improve diversity in an existing team.
They delve into questions such as: What’s the difference between diversity and inclusion? Why is a neutral interview process sometimes anti inclusive? Do you prioritise candidates who are a culture ‘add’, as opposed to a culture ‘fit’? And, what are the implications of having a founding team that lacks diversity?
