    The People’s Court Podcast

    The honorable Judge Marilyn Milian presides over the four-time Emmy award winning “The People’s Court.” For more than two decades, Milian has dispensed justice and provided legal insight in the courtroom where justice and reality collide. And now, you can take the show on the go with “The People’s Court Podcast.”

    “The People’s Court Podcast” draws on ordinary people who have filed grievances in civil court and have opted to have their cases heard and mediated by Judge Milian. Running the gamut from disputes between neighbors and family members, to dissatisfied customers suing businesses, Milian’s decisions – based on current law – are final and binding.

    Joining Milian is multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter Harvey Levin, who serves as the series’ host and legal reporter. In the courtroom, Milian is joined by court officer Douglas McIntosh. Doug Llewelyn interviews litigants after a decision has been rendered in their cases.

    Plus, the plaintiff used to be friends with the defendant. However, the plaintiff sold the defendant a car, but he hasn't yet paid for it in full, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff was supposed to have the vehicle fixed before he purchased it and failed to do so.

    'Flip-Flopping on a Friend' & 'Going Loco on Coco' & 'Sticky Fingers' Jul 28, 2026

    First, the plaintiff and the defendant went to Disney World together. The defendant hasn't paid her portion of the trip, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims she babysat for the plaintiff and did all kinds of things for her. The defendant believes the trip to Disney World was a gift.

    Then, the plaintiff says her puppy was mauled to death by the defendant's dog. The plaintiff is suing for the cost of her puppy and pain and suffering. The defendant claims the plaintiff's unleashed dog instigated the attack.

    Plus, the plaintiff claims one of his employees stole cash from him, as well as a gift card, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant denies the allegations.

    'Being Out of Control' & 'Refusing a Bill' & 'To Sell or Not to Sell' Jul 27, 2026

    First, the plaintiff was walking her dog when the defendant's dog bit her. The plaintiff is suing for medical costs. The defendant says there is no way his dog attacked the plaintiff's.

    Then, the plaintiff did some mechanical work on the defendant's car, but she hasn't paid, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the plaintiff is a scammer.

    Plus, the plaintiff was going to purchase a townhouse, and she spent money on an inspection. However, the defendant backed out of the deal, so the plaintiff is suing for the money she already spent. The defendant admits she backed out of the deal, but there was no contract in place, and nothing was signed yet.

    'Letting an Auntie Down ' & 'Getting Out Early' & 'Grand Theft Scooter' Jul 24, 2026

    First, the plaintiff put her car in the defendant's name. However, the vehicle was impounded, and she can't get it out, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff was supposed to pay half the expenses but fell behind. The defendant is countersuing for unpaid parking tickets, insurance costs, and pain and suffering.

    Then, the plaintiff says the defendants, his former tenants, caused damage and moved out without proper notice, so the plaintiff is suing for back rent and fees. The defendants argue there were issues with the apartment since day one. The defendants discovered multiple code violations with the place, and they believe they owe nothing.

    Plus, the plaintiff claims the defendant's son stole his son's scooter, so he's suing. The defendant insists her son had nothing to do with the scooter.

    'Pooping On a Neighbor' & 'Taking a Toll' & 'Springing a Leak' Jul 23, 2026

    First, the plaintiff says the defendant's dogs kept doing their business on his driveway. The plaintiff had to hire professionals to clean up the mess, so he's suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff complains about everything, and his dogs are great. The defendant has no idea what the plaintiff is talking about with this lawsuit.

    Then, the plaintiff loaned the defendant money, and in exchange, she was going to use the defendant's car for a month. However, the defendant backed out of the deal, so the plaintiff is suing for her money back. The defendant claims she drove the plaintiff all over town for appointments, and the plaintiff gave her some gas money. The defendant doesn't understand why the plaintiff wants her money back.

    Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant, her upstairs neighbor, flooded the toilet. The ceiling collapsed and damaged belongings as a result, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says she didn't cause the flooding.

    'Keeping a Fellow in the Dark' & 'Throwing it All Away' & 'Driving a Guy Mad' Jul 22, 2026

    First, the plaintiff brought his car into the defendant's shop, but he trashed the bumper and caused other issues, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues he repaired the vehicle for free. The plaintiff didn't complain until two years later.

    Then, the plaintiff claims the defendant, her ex, took her computer and video camera and threw them out. The plaintiff is suing for the value of her belongings. The defendant says the plaintiff up and moved out on him one day. The defendant insists the plaintiff abandoned the items, so he had every right to throw them out.

    Plus, the plaintiff worked for the defendant's car service. However, things didn't work out. The plaintiff wants his security deposit he gave the defendant for the car he drove, as well as unpaid wages, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff only worked nine jobs for him and abruptly changed his mind about the position.

    Then, the plaintiff used to be really close to the defendant. However, the plaintiff claims she sold the defendant a television, but he hasn't paid in full, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant admits he owes some money, but he lost his job.

    Plus, the plaintiff, a handwriting expert who certifies signatures, claims the defendant hired him during his divorce. However, the plaintiff says the defendant hasn't yet paid him, so he's suing. The defendant argues the plaintiff was supposed to testify in court for the case but didn't.

    Then, the plaintiffs put a deposit down on a car. However, they discovered the car had some issues, so the plaintiffs are suing for the return of the deposit. The defendant insists he made it very clear that deposits are nonrefundable.

    Plus, the plaintiff hired the defendant to provide a bounce house, a magician, and a clown for her son's birthday party. However, the plaintiff insists she didn't get anything close to what she asked for, so she's suing for a refund. The defendant argues the magician was 10 minutes late, and he was cursed out and told to go home. The defendant believes the plaintiff is being unreasonable with this case.

    Then, the plaintiff worked as a nanny for the defendant. The plaintiff says she is owed money for her services, so she is suing for unpaid wages. The defendant believes the plaintiff doesn't deserve a penny. The plaintiff left the defendant's child unattended in the bath, and she fell asleep on the job.

    Plus, the plaintiff purchased a car from the defendant, but he didn't stand by the warranty. The plaintiff is suing for the cost of repairs. The defendant says the plaintiff bought a warranty on the transmission only, and she is complaining about a whole separate problem.

    First, the plaintiff hired the defendant’s limo company for her daughter’s prom. The plaintiff claims the defendant never showed up, so she’s suing for pain and suffering and last-minute expenses incurred. The defendant is very sorry, but the car broke down. The defendant offered a free ride for a future date, so he doesn’t believe this lawsuit is necessary.

    Then, the plaintiff was driving down the road one day when a horse landed on his car and smashed his windshield. The plaintiff is suing the defendant who owns the horse. The defendant argues his fence was adequate, and it’s not his fault that his horse got out.

    Plus, the plaintiff hired the defendant to remodel her garage. However, the plaintiff wasn’t happy with the defendant’s work, and now she has to have it redone, so she’s suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff kept adding things to the original job.
