Tamela D'Amico is a singer in the jazz genre. With her beautiful voice she interprets songs from the American songbook as well as songs written by artists like Barry Manilow, Harry Connick, Jr. and even the Beatles. Her voice is unique, at times sexy and sometimes cozy.

Every now and then someone is a guest on The Paul Leslie Hour that I was aware of my whole life. It was surreal to be invited to interview John Tesh. Tesh is a celebrated pianist, composer, performer, radio & television personality. Growing up, I was aware of him through Entertainment Tonight, and then came to appreciate his music. Many of you are familiar with his hit radio and multi-platform program, Intelligence for Your Life.

As a musician, John Tesh has sold more than 8 million records and performs both as a solo pianist, a 12-piece big band and an 80 piece orchestra. This interview explores a number of topics, but it was in part to discuss his album Big Band which I very much recommend. I’ve been listening to it lately and I also have the DVD of the live concert. John Tesh performed and sang a number of classics from the Great American Songbook on these releases, as well as several originals.

As it turns out, today is John Tesh’s birthday. He still looks as young as ever and I hope you’ll give this interview a listen as well as some of his great albums.

Allan Havey is a special guest on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Allan Havey is one of the best stand-ups out there and a much respected actor. The New York Times called him "cocksure, irreverent, and very funny."

He's also known for his unforgettable performance as "Lou Avery" in Mad Men, or for playing "Karl Allard" on the hit show Billions. Allan Havey has also been seen on Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Louie, Glow, The Office, 2 Broke Girls and many other shows. He's acted in films including "Rounders" and "The Informant! and can be seen in the Jerry Seinfeld documentary "Comedian."

He makes for a great interview subject, and it may be in part because he knows a thing or two about talk shows. He was the host of "Night After Night with Allan Havey." He's also made guest appearances on Conan O'Brien and 10 appearances on David Letterman.

Allan Havey? He's great to talk with. He has entertaining stories that he tells with a kind of everyman charm. I just hope we cross paths again.

Ray Hildebrand is a singer, songwriter, recording artist and performer. In addition to his years with Paul & Paula, he has had a successful solo career making both pop music and Christian music. It was an honor and delight to talk about all of this with him.

This interview was originally broadcast on the radio and was very well received. Countless people have contacted me through the years to talk about how touched they were by Ray's (a.k.a. Paul!) story.

I was listening to some of the wondrous recordings of Tierney Sutton on her birthday. It made me recall this interview which was conducted for the radio.

Jazz singer and recording artist Tierney Sutton discusses her unique and spiritual approach to creating jazz music. The Tierney Sutton Band composed and performed the music for the Clint Eastwood film "Sully." Her band has also released more than a dozen albums and has received 9 Grammy Award nominations.
