The Unused Cavs Obituary - WFNY Podcast #513 Jun 26, 2016
    Show notes

I've been talking about the Cleveland Cavaliers season obituary I wrote. Well, here it is. This is the beginning and please listen in for the rest.

If you define success by winning championships you're doomed to misery. I know it's early in the mourning process for these kinds of thoughts, but I've had this one stewing since the Cleveland Cavaliers dropped Game 4 to the Golden State Warriors. After attending that game and being a bit down, but not completely depressed, I had all these thoughts swirling around my head. I can't summarize my opinion in just one statement - and I won't with the number of words this will take - but my truth about the Cavaliers - and one I hope to feel sooner rather than later - is that this was an amazing season to be a fan of the team, despite them not winning it all.

On Cavs Game 7 and Marlins Man - WFNY Podcast #509 Jun 18, 2016
    Show notes

It's the day before the day. The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to play Game 7 against the Golden State Warriors and I still have no idea where to watch the game. It's a nervous experience trying to figure it all out.

I also tackle the Marlins Man issue that arose after a Friday night Indians game where Marlins Man was reportedly verbally abused, threatened and eventually driven from the stadium out of concern for his own safety. I can't possibly condone that, assuming it happened that way, but it deserves a little bit more discussion.

Are Cleveland fans worse than others? Are Cleveland fans irretrievably broken? Are you shocked and outraged? I try and bring some nuance to it all.
