The Alabama Crimson Tide went on the road to The Tennessee Volunteers to whom Alabama Basketball had lost five straight and stunned Tennessee Basketball 71-69. The Crimson Tide did not lead until the final 24 seconds but got an huge road win.

The Auburn Tigers are now, potentially, inn the outside of the NCAA Tournament field looking in. Auburn Basketball suffered at terrible 85-79 home loss to the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday night. The loss leaves Auburn at 15-14 (6-10) and in an emergency situation.

Former Auburn Basketball player Chad Baker-Mazzara was kicked off the USC Trojans team over the weekend. Would Auburn’s season have been any different with him still on the roster?

We draft for the next national championship winner among SEC Football and SEC Basketball teams.

College basketball coaches on the edge of retirement

The Alabama Crimson Tide unleashed a furious 3-point barrage in the first half to bury The Mississippi State Bulldogs before halftime. Alabama Basketball coasted in the second half to a 100-75 win over Mississippi State Basketball.

The win keeps Alabama in a tie for second in the SEC with the Arkansas Razorbacks, who Alabama holds the head-to-head tie breaker against. The Crimson Tide (11-4) is two games clear of the group tied for fifth in the SEC at 9-6.

Alabama still controls their own destiny for the 2-Seed in the SEC Tournament in Nashville meaning the Crimson Tide would earn the Double Bye and not have to play a game until Friday. Alabama can further solidify that Saturday in Knoxville.
