After receiving a late diagnosis of Asperger’s and experiencing what can only be described as life-shattering trauma at the age of just 20, Daniel spent the next seven years struggling to keep these revelations and events from spilling into every area of his life. As a result of his struggles, Daniel built a simple, four-step system called the Beyond Intention Paradigm.
Initially built as a lifeline grappling with suicidal thoughts, Beyond Intention was born, transforming Daniel’s life from misery to celebration. About Dr. R. A. Slaughter
Dr. R. A. Slaughter, Ed.D., is an advocate for literacy, an educator, and a renowned author. Even as a child, Dr. Slaughter had a passion for education and dreamed of being a teacher. She began by teaching English at a public high school in Reading, PA. Later, she moved onto teaching college. Dr. Slaughter’s greatest accomplishment as a student was earning her Doctoral degree in Cognitive Studies in Reading from Widener University and her certification as a Reading Specialist via the Department of Education. Dr. Slaughter also pursued a career in writing and has published a number of books. She also worked as a features writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Philadelphia Tribune and recently began the column “The Reading Quilt.” She was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from Cabrini College in 2000.

Joaquin "Waah" Dean joins this episode as we discuss the origins of the Ruff Ryders brand, the business of the music industry from his unique perspective, the time that the Ruff Ryders team worked before the roster of DMX, Eve, The Lox, Swizz Beats, and many others launched, managing success as a business owner, the DMX vs Jay-Z freestyle, my personal story around DMX's second album, and the positive impact the Ruff Ryders To The Rescue Foundation is having in black and brown communities across America.

A native of the Bronx, Joaquin Dean is a legendary and globally respected figure within the
Hip Hop community as the Founder and CEO of Ruff Ryders Entertainment - which he
built alongside his brother, Darrin Dean, and sister, Chivon Dean in 1988.
Currently Mr. Dean has created an independent platform that assists in developing several RR
entities while continuing to build his long-established global brand.
Mr. Dean’s influence and extensive knowledge play an integral role in supporting the community
