A syndication lion is the one who must put everything in its proper place.

Without the syndicator, there’s no deal and no investment. And without a vetted investment, investors’ money is bait for
recession, inflation, and their cousins’ ‘million dollar ideas’.

So, who’s got the power now, huh?

And when one step remains before the finish line, when millions are expected to cross hands, and the clock is ticking,
and the difference between a funded deal and ‘Eh…. What just happened?’ rides on investors following instead of
doubting…

….aka showing up on Zoom calls, wiring the money, and signing the agreements…

It’s time for a syndication lion to run the show.

But even more so…

My clients aren’t sheep in lion’s clothes. They’ve got lions’ DNA.

This is why external hurdles like the economy…recession… politics… markets… media…

Get swatted away like flies.

Serial syndicators, the ones who do three, five, ten syndications a year, go for the kill with zero doubts, and reality
bends itself backward to make it happen.

‘Good economy’ … ‘Bad economy’…

Oh, please! These notions are only useful for selling newspapers.

My clients look at the news and chuckle. They know they are the only answer to the investor’s anxiety. Because the worse
the news, the worse the worry, the more help investors need.

After all, where else are investors going to park their money?

Tech stocks? NFTs? Crypto? Yeah, right.

But a recession-proof slice of a real asset? A property they can ‘touch’ and see rental income trickle in? Now we are
talking!

Or a business venture that solves a big, hairy problem in a marketplace? Bring it on!

It might seem like a weird thing to say for a lawyer, but when I started as a family law attorney twenty years ago, I
learned quickly that there are law practices that break people apart (divorces, inheritance disputes, etc.), and then
there are law practices that build people up.

Guess which one practicing as a syndication attorney falls
under.

I’ve been practicing law for over nineteen years now.

And since the Jobs Act of 2012 redefined syndication, I’ve worked exclusively with syndicators.

It’s kind of a funny story, the way my syndication law practice started.

I couldn’t pass on a juicy piece of real estate that crossed my desk. And because I wasn’t in a position to take it down
myself at that time (just bought a house, wife was pregnant with our second baby)…

The only solution that made sense was to syndicate.

And that’s where my syndication chops come from – I had to move a few mountains and figure it all out for myself first.

Since then, I’ve helped influencers, gurus, funds, tech geniuses, venture capitalists, mom-and-pop syndicators, and
everyone in between to get their deals funded.

Former NSA Employee Authors Books That Take The Reader On An Epic Ride In Science Fiction! Nov 12, 2024

John Sorflaten was born and raised in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He loved that it was a big small town growing up. He loved the community feel. His father was a radio announcer. At thirteen years old his family moved to Missouri when his dad decided to become a minister. They then came back to Minneapolis where his father started his first church. He now appreciates how his dad took on a longer commute so that his kids could grow up on the lake. He graduated from high school in Minnetonka, Minnesota. More about John: “John Sorflaten, PhD, CUXP, is the author of two science-fiction novels, Thrall Conspiracy — Solar Conjunction, Book 1 and Thrall Conspiracy Genesis: A Pole Star, Twin Helix Chronicle Book 2. He is also a Vietnam War veteran, a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, and the founding owner of Optimum Performance Training, LLC.

He has over 30 years of experience in working with the human factors in human-computer interface design and instruction across a significant variety of platforms, contexts, and engagement venues. He provided “user-friendly design” consulting and training to Fortune 500 companies and National Security Agency. Prior to forming his own company, he worked Human Factors International, and successfully led the largest design project at its time, culminating in a full redesign of www.ninds.nih.gov. It won a “Best of the Feds” award. While studying cinematic arts in the late 1960s at USC, he briefly worked on crew for filmmaker George Lucas. After college, he served overseas in the military during the Vietnam War, earning Distinguished Officer Award from US Air Force Officer Training School. In the early 1970s he completed training as a teacher of Transcendental Meditation and has taught students for over a half-century. He also directed Louis Wilson’s great video camera work of the Twin Galaxies 1082 Video Game Olympics and the famous 1983 Life Magazine Video Game Champions photo shoot. That footage appeared in films like Chasing Ghosts: Bevond the Arcade and King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters (both 2007) as well as Frag (2008) and CNN’s documentary *The Eighties”. He earned a PhD in Instructional Design, Film Theory, and Science Education from University of Iowa. He received a Master/s in Interdisciplinary Studies from Maharishi University of Management. Devin Burke was born and raised just outside Philadelphia in a nice small farm suburb called Harleysville. He really enjoyed that he was able to ride his bike anywhere. He had a ton of freedom growing up. He loved science in high school. He made the varsity football team as a freshman. He really loved playing basketball, his favorite sport. After graduating from high school he attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. He was ready for the sunshine. Local Builder Dedicates His Life To Providing Opportunity For Others To Make Their Money Work For Them And Create Mailbox Money! Oct 14, 2024

Dusten Hendrickson was born in Silver Springs Maryland. He moved with his family to South Dakota when he was five. He enjoyed growing up there because of the safety of the community. He was into skateboarding and snowboarding during high school. He had an opportunity to become a partner in a roofing company with a friend and he owned that for ten years. He figured out that he would prefer to build houses, which he did. He then built duplexes for himself as an investment and he enjoyed that even more. He then discovered that he could build 10 units for about the same expense and effort as the duplex. Now he is building 150 unit complexes for investors to create mailbox money by owning. More on Dusten: “Professionally, I develop and invest in wellness-designed multifamily real estate, existing value-add

real estate, and I passively invest in other projects as an LP investor. I enjoy giving others the help
and encouragement that they may need in order to begin their own multifamily investment journey.

Collectively, I own and asset-manage 869 multifamily units, approximately 25,000 sq ft of
commercial space and I passively invest in 2,034 units as an LP. I have been involved in real estate
since 2002 (basically my entire career) and have practiced anything from owning a roofing company
to building and acquiring single-family homes, multifamily apartment communities, mixed-use
buildings, and commercial property. I have developed new neighborhoods and nurtured infill and
adaptive reuse projects while working closely with the historical society, city council, government
employees and officials. I have deep relationships and connections in my local communities that
have spread to a national level from years of pushing the envelope in real estate trends and design. I
have a passion for efficient buildings, great architecture and wellness design. I collaborated with the
South Dakota State University Department of Architecture to build the first Certified Passive House
in South Dakota. I have developed a skill set specific to value-add multifamily because of all the
affordable design builds I have participated in – simply by living in a very frugal community. I am
blessed to say that I love my occupation.
Personally, I love to have fun in everything I do by being a positive influence through Christ. I also

Spencer Hilligoss was born and raised in Redwood City, California. He loved to be around people who liked to play punk rock as a kid. He decided to play bass guitar when his friend told him he bought a bass guitar and gave it to him. His friend said “hey you want to play in a band?” And it was on! His dad was a real estate broker and he enjoyed helping him with his business. He had the opportunity to meet a number of professional football players at open houses he hosted for his father. He didn’t quite appreciate it at the time. Serial Entrepreneur Starts And Develops A Company That Makes It Easier And More Profitable For Others To Invest In Real Estate! Oct 10, 2024

Andrew Kim was born and grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His parents were Korean immigrants that emigrated to Canada post war in the early 70’s. More about Andrew: “During my childhood, I was raised in a low-income immigrant family, where the notion of real estate being a secure investment was deeply ingrained in me. Before assuming my current position as the CEO and co-founder of SHARE, my professional trajectory primarily revolved around my own venture-backed startups and fast-growing divisions within big companies.

Around 2010, I saved up enough to start investing in single-family rentals (SFRs) in Ontario. However, these homes were deeply dilapidated and required a lot of work and effort to make it cash-flowing. I suffered significant losses trying to stabilize these assets and never really reaped the multiples of cash that others boasted.

In 2011, my previous venture-backed startup led me to California, where, at the time, my present business partner served as our tax and accounting consultant. As a fellow Canadian and real estate investor in the U.S., she urged me to consider investing in U.S. SFRs because of their resiliency, and higher returns profile with lower entry points/prices. So for the last 10 years, I have witnessed the positive returns work wonders for my overall investment portfolio and give me financial security.” “My entrepreneurial journey began with a mix of successes and failures in multiple business ventures since graduation. Early on in my career, when I was making a very modest income, I realized the need for stability especially because I wanted to start a family. So, I started to grow my wealth portfolio through real estate investments, with the intention of saving for rainy days. When my income grew, I started to focus more on building my business and less on my safety net. At a time when everything was smooth sailing — I had invested in real estate as part of my retirement plan, my business was flourishing, and my family was growing. However, everything changed when the company I worked for was acquired, forcing a move to Silicon Valley and demanding hours which resulted in a disconnect from family and neglecting my real estate investments.

Eventually, I decided to quit, return to Canada, and became a stay-at-home dad with limited financial resources, realizing the importance of continued investment even during challenging times. The pandemic created a sense of urgency to get back into real estate investing and the timeless saying, “I wish I had invested in real estate back then…”, became a reality for the current market.

The lessons I learned from this experience is that nothing lasts forever. Entrepreneurs being risk takers, it is important to recognize that the risk compounds when you have dependents. It is completely acceptable to put the bulk of your energy on a core objective but always try to have a safety net especially if you have people to take care of.”

Triumphant Child Abuse And Drug Addiction Survivor Authors A Book To Help Others Improve Their Lives! Oct 10, 2024

Mary Beth O’Connor was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in North Jersey. She suffered severe child abuse growing up. She started drinking and smoking marijuana at age 12. At 16, she found her way to methamphetamine which was a drug that worked best for her to abuse. Mary Beth attended and graduated high school and college while she was abusing meth. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley in history. Mary Beth applied and was accepted to Berkeley Law School. She very quickly figured out that she couldn’t focus enough for a top ten law school curriculum. Her addiction ebbed and flowed from bad to severe and back as the years went by. She withdrew from Berkeley Law School the “right way”. Mary Beth then was addicted for another ten years of her life. She made her way to a five month rehab and spent the next 6 years putting her life back together. Eventually she applied to Berkeley Law and was rejected. She applied and was accepted to University of California, Hastings Law School for two years, rose to number 3 out of 400 students, reapplied to Berkeley and she was accepted! She earned her JD from Berkeley Law, a top ten law school nationally! Mary Beth went on to be appointed as a lawyer for the federal government and eventually became a federal judge! More about Mary Beth: “For Mary Beth, childhood abuse and other traumas led to substance use disorder (addiction).

Beginning with alcohol at age 12, she spent several years abusing various drugs. She found methamphetamine at 16 and started shooting up at 17. Mary Beth struggled with meth until she was 32 years old.

By incorporating ideas from multiple sources to build a secular (not 12-step or faith based) recovery plan that works for her, Mary Beth has been sober since 1994. She used similar techniques to address the trauma and related anxiety as well.

Mary Beth is a board member for LifeRing Secular Recovery and She Recovers Foundation. She speaks on behalf of these organizations, about multiple paths to recovery, and about all topics related to substance use disorder and recovery. She also speaks about sexual abuse and rape, child abuse, domestic violence, ptsd, anxiety, and recovering from these as well.

Mary Beth’s award-winning memoir, From Junkie to Judge: One Woman’s Triumph Over Trauma and Addiction, is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bamm, Indie Bound, and other sites, and at your local bookstore. She also has placed essays in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and Recovery Today.

Professionally, 6 years into recovery, Mary Beth attended Berkeley Law. She worked at a large firm in Silicon Valley, then litigated class actions for the federal government. In 2014, Mary Beth was appointed a federal Administrative Law Judge, a position from which she retired in 2020.”

Former Marketing Executive Is Transforming Lives With IFLY Oceanside! Oct 09, 2024

ChristyLoiacono was born and raised on a farm in the Charlotte area of North Carolina. She loved animals and growing up she made it a habit of bringing animals home to take care of and keep. She grew up wanting to be a veterinarian and had an opportunity to intern with a local vet. When they had to terminate the life of an animal she knew it wasn’t for her. She chose instead to study marketing and ended up working for NASCAR. She met a young man that was working with the Jeff Gordon racing team and ended up moving to San Diego. A friend of hers told her about IFLY Oceanside, she m,et the owners and became their first employee during construction of the facility.
