This week we dive in to Traveling Salesmen from Season 3! With Sean on the mend, Alex and Edwin form a pair of traveling podcasters to talk about this episode, covering all of the sales calls, coffee runs, and loads of laundry that make up this episode. And of course we highlight all of the makeovers, Long Tims, and ‘Hi’s’ along the way. Then in the Conference Room we talk about what we’d sell as traveling salesmen and how The Office would’ve been different if Andy never returned from anger management. And then we close with a few listener voicemails.

193: The Phone Call Dundie Awards Mar 17, 2023

This week we try out a brand new episode format - handing out Dundie awards for the best phone calls over the course of the show. We open with some discussion about the role the phone plays on a show like The Office, how much happens through headsets, and discuss all the Dundie-winning phone calls that happen. We screen our way through the real phone calls, fake phone calls, emergency calls, personal calls, voicemail calls, missed calls, wrong numbers, drunk dials, songs, and Wendy's orders that make up a significant portion of dialogue on the show.

Then we head into the conference room to discuss who in the Scranton office that Michael has done the dirtiest. Oh, and there's just a dash of Oscars talk for all you movie buffs out there.

This week we draft character pairings on The Office! We talk about friendships, romances, Gabe, and whatever you call the relationship between Dwight and Nate. And each character can only be drafted a few times, so each pick has to count. And as we go we take time to talk about why those pairings are so iconic, hilarious, or just a favorite from the show. And then for the Conference Room we answer trivia submitted by our friends in the MSPC Facebook fan group!
