    Mayor Graham hosts Director of Public Works Andrew Hayes to talk about economic development. They discuss Mayor Graham's ballot measure proposal for updated language for the 1/2 cent sales tax and what the future of economic development looks like with the changes. They briefly discuss the 1% sales tax ballot measure proposal and how that tax can be used to accomplish capital improvement projects for citizens to see the value.

    If you're a podcast listener, this week's episode might be best viewed on the City of Pueblo YouTube channel because of the visual aspects described in this episode featuring the Pueblo Police Department's Real-Time Crime Center. On episode 20, Mayor Graham joins Pueblo Police Department Chief Chris Noeller inside the Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC). Chief Noeller explains the technology used in the RTCC including ShotSpotter, license plate readers (LPRs), cameras and the newly deployed Drones as First Responders (DFRs).

    Mayor Graham and Chief Noeller explain how the technology is used in real time, how it assists officers with reporting, the efficiency of the department and the increased safety to the Pueblo community and officers of the department. The YouTube video shows how the drone is deployed, what footage it is able to capture and just how quickly it can respond to a call for service.

    Episode 17 Mayor Graham discusses the Pueblo City Council Work Session from June 16. Pueblo County Commissioners presented on the future of Pueblo Regional Building and are hosting a townhall on Tuesday, June 17 at the Sangre de Cristo Art Center from 5:30-7pm. Additionally, Mayor Graham talks about the criteria ordinance related to Pueblo Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO) half cent sales tax and the potential ballot measure in November.

Pueblo City Council approved the contract award for SafeSide Recovery Foundation to provide operations management of the Pueblo Shelter. Mayor Graham and Sarah talk about the rebuilding of trust, peer recovery support specialists and community partnerships.
    Mayor Graham gives a brief City Council recap and talks about the importance of refraining from lighting off fireworks within city limits. Aerial fireworks are illegal and harmful to friends and neighbors throughout the city.
