    The Maximus Podcast Ep. 82 - Fearvana Pt 2 Apr 02, 2020
    Show notes

This is part 2 of our interview with Akshay Nanavati (@fearvana). He is the author of the best selling book “Fearvana” which has been endorsed by the Dalai Lama (he actually wrote the forward). He’s done so much more than that though. He served as a Marine, he’s battled PTSD and drug addiction, been on the brink of suicide, yet managed to climb out of the proverbial darkness to cross Greenland on skis, spend 7 days in absolute darkness, run across Liberia and run 80 miles straight on a .2 mile loop. To put it mildly this was one of the most intense podcasts we have ever done. If you haven’t listened to Part 1 yet start there first.

The Maximus Podcast Ep. 74 - Adapt or Die Mar 25, 2020
    Show notes

Adapt or die. That’s the reality of it all. Most people when things get bad turn to prayer or hope. Neither are a good plan. Hope isn’t taking action and God only helps those who help themselves. Taking action isn’t always smart either. It could be the wrong action. The key is to adapt. Be able to move laterally. Switch directions and keep moving regardless of the obstacle in your way. In this episode of “The Maximus Podcast” your hosts Joe Cebula and Bobby Maximus talk about how you’ll adapt, the fears they both face, and what they’re doing about them.
