Too fast not furious Nov 23, 2023

Show notes

Luke's been caught speeding. Sounds bad, but we quickly learn that Pete's traffic crimes are much worse.

The lads then put on their tinfoil hats and question the legitimacy of bus lanes and damp meters. Plus, we discover that Pete can do an excellent impression of a mafia boss. That probably explains all the traffic crimes...

Where can I park my Jet Ski? Nov 20, 2023

Show notes

Pete's trying to work out if he could park a Jet Ski on a double yellow line. Which we can all agree is great news for the Luke and Pete Show community.

On top of that, the lads come to the realisation that it must be mad to work for the Guinness World Records and we read a quite baffling email about a fridge that appears to have been built into a fence. We must find out more!

Elsewhere, Luke admits that he would like Louis Theroux to have a boxing fight with Piers Morgan and Pete reveals that he used to write his own comic strips. Should we be surprised?

The Gaviscon Cartel Nov 13, 2023

Show notes

Pete almost got in a fight on his most recent weekend away. To be fair, it serves him right for going somewhere that wasn’t an indie bar.

The lads then prove they are definitely too old for fighting as they discuss their favourite antacids and we read an email from a listener who visited the big Vegas sphere. It turns out Pete's prediction about the sphere has already come true...

De-centralized retinas Nov 09, 2023

Show notes

We start today’s show by talking about Jet Skis but before long we’re talking about the impending death of civilisation in the Western world. Welcome to The Luke and Pete Show.

If that’s not enough for you, Pete trims his nose hair live on the show and we hear about an NFT conference that made people go blind.

Show notes

How does Pete not already own a Jet Ski? Luke encourages him to put that right on today's show.

World Class Basics Nov 02, 2023

Show notes

Pete “skipped through” the UFO documentary that Luke recommended. That’s pretty good going for Donny, to be fair.

Today, the lads discuss that and they also disagree over the legacy of Michael Parkinson. Plus, we encourage one of our listeners to listen to The Luke and Pete show during the birth of their child.

I’m too fat Oct 30, 2023

Show notes

Pete was forced to drive a stranger's car over the weekend. I really don’t think the owner of the car knew what they were getting themselves in for.

Speaking of which, a listener gets in touch on today’s show to review Donny’s small talk and we also read an email about a man who faked his own kidnapping. And no, that final story isn't also about Pete, thankfully.

Bananageddon Oct 26, 2023

Show notes

Would you remove your own gallbladder to be able to eat black pudding? That’s the dilemma that Pete is faced with on today’s show.

On top of that, Donny also reveals his flood defence strategy - which is predictably illegal - and Luke tells us about the time he created “Bananageddon” as a child. Delicious?
