Mish didn't hate her job.
She was content.
Her life, in her words, was "pretty ordinary. It was fine. We didn't think anything was missing."
Her and her husband Rob had regular jobs. They lived in London. It was normal.
But after taking a 6 month sabbatical in New York, things changed. They started hearing about digital nomads and thought maybe they should give it a shot.
That was 4 years ago, and since, they haven't looked back.
Now, Mish spends a large portion of her time in Spain, running two successful businesses in between eating mass quantities of tapas and drinking equally mass quantities of wine.
She tells the whole, rollicking story of how they created this lifestyle - including why writing $5 press releases for nail salons played a huge part in their success - in today's Behind the Paradise Pack interview.
This is the second edition of our Behind the Paradise Pack 2016 series, where we conduct short 10 minute interviews with inspiring contributors from this year's Pack.
Each podcast will give you:
- A look at what their life was like before.
- How they made the transition to being able to travel, live, and work from anywhere.
- What their life looks now.
- And the #1 piece of advice they would tell someone who is just starting out.
And we LOVE the #1 piece of advice that Mish gives to "herself 4 years ago so that she wouldn't have as many crying fits." It's spot on!
Give it a listen and enjoy!
