In this episode of The Life of Pharoah Po, Po is joined by his childhood friend Curtis of Payne Technology.
Payne Technology taking Nashville by storm, one information technology solution at a time Business is about more than making money. It’s about serving the community and each other. “Business is our way to serve the world the very gifts that make us who we are,” says Curtis Payne II, founder and CEO of Payne Technology, a full-service Computer & Mobile device repair and IT Solutions consulting firm. “This is a combination of our upbringing, interests, and struggles. We all conduct business in one way or another every day. As business owners, we constantly shift from buyer to seller. You can't expect people to support your business without supporting other businesses.” Payne, the son of a retired Air Force veteran and career woman, calls Columbus, MS his native home, but has called Antioch and the Greater Nashville area home since 2006. His advice on business: Enjoy the ride. “Entrepreneurship is like a roller coaster that never ends. The thrill of the highs and lows are not for everyone,” he says. “I enjoy entrepreneurship because I'm willing to take risks that require me putting in maximum effort and then some. Because of my strong faith in God & the values my parents instilled in me, I'm willing to sacrifice the ultimate to stay on the this roller coaster.” Aside from his innate desire to work for himself, Payne is also driven by a need to have an unlimited opportunity to earn as much as he is willing to work for. “No employer can pay a great employee their true worth,” he says. “I believe in receiving the full value in everything I'm fortunate to be a part of. Entrepreneurship allows me to receive the full value of my gifts.” Payne also supports many other business owners’ endeavors, both large and small. "There's enough light in the world for everyone to shine,” he says. And for your IT needs, he says simply this: “Technology failures are unavoidable. Prevent pain in the future by contacting Payne Technology today."
