The Last Word #112 ft Zoe - Beyond Light DELAYED, Season of Arrivals Changes, Raids & Dungeon Ranks, November Jul 17, 2020

Show notes

This week we had an awesome Raid Sherpa from the UK join us, Zoe_. We got a bit of her background of gaming and history in Destiny. She runs some of the hardest content and helps others through it as well. We then got into the elephant in the room, the delay of Beyond Light. While a bummer for sure most of us agree we want them to release a quality product and also gives more time to finish things during this season like Seals and Triumphs. November is a packed month right now with so many releases it will be interesting to see how all of this pans out. We did get a bit of raid and dungeon rank discussion going and really just all sides of the game. Hope you enjoy this one it was a lovely chat.

The Last Word #109 - Be Excellent to Each Other - Weapon Reissues - Iron Banner - Tiger Engine Longevity Jun 27, 2020

Show notes

This week we had to start out addressing the terrible things that some people have been through previously. We all need to be better to each other as humans in general and we also can't continue to watch bad things happen as say nothing. As a society we need to come together to make sure we improve. We also have iron banner coming which brought up the weapon re-issue problem which was the main fear of weapon sunsetting. Finally we discussed the engine we are looking at facing for another 3 years. Good chat overall and I hope you enjoy.

We had to talk about the awesome work that GCX is doing, as of writing this description they are nearly at 5 million raised this year for St. Judes who does amazing things. We got into the discussion of our content, typically for more casual players who aren't so deep in the know and how the New Light Experience needs some help for sure and maybe the fall will improve that. Season of Arrivals so far has some cool beats and some exotic quests coming up that seem very fun and possible story lead ins for Beyond Light in the fall. Hope you enjoy this chat.

The Last Word #105 - May 29th - Almighty, Cryptic TWAB, Season 11 & Year 4 Info, Outriders, Backlog May 30, 2020

Show notes

This week we discussed some backlog games that we were working through during these quieter times in Destiny 2. Nioh 2, Inside, FF7 Remake and The Last of Us have been making their way through our devices. Back to Destiny 2 we have the Almighty Enemy ship now visible in the atmosphere, but it isn't moving as fast as I think it should. There are many more factors in space that could affect it but it should be here soon as the season wrap up is coming to and end. We also speculate what is going to be the roapmap for the final week and half of this Season 10 and how we transition into Season 11 & the Year 4 reveal. We wrapped with a quick discussion of the first Outriders reveal stream.

The Last Word #104 ft Teasing Teddy - "The Lie" Quest Review, World Loot Pool, Balancing & Tuning, Sunsetting May 25, 2020

Show notes

This week we finally got our hands on the Felwinter's Lie Shotgun, but the journey was a bumpy road. The quest got bugged at the worst moment when the community was just gathering steam to finish it. The bug did get fixed this week and we now have the shotgun. The lore behind the quest and that come with kills with the gun is a cool history behind Rasputin. Its a great read if you have time. We then dive into the World Loot Pool, which seems to be taking the Legendary Engram and making it the universal weapon pool. Armor will still come from the activities, but weapons seem to be available everywhere. Seems odd but we shall see. The weapon balancing for reload perks is to bring the perks down to hopefully make space for new perks, again time will tell. Sunsetting is a divisive issue and we dive into that as well. Enjoy.
