095 - You're the Rogue Now, Flik May 15, 2019

Show notes

The party continues their search of the second level of the Arcanium. They find several more journal entries, some fun and quirky magic items, and a room that contains worlds. What will they make of the journal entries? Will more of the history of this place be explained? Or will they just get impatient, ignore the entries, and push forward, making DM Jazzy Hands weep for his lost lore? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

094 - Tidying Up May 08, 2019

Show notes

The party continues their search for more journal entries on the second level of the temple. While they search, they give the place a good spring cleaning, which I'm sure someone really appreciates. They manage to find a few more entries, and more of the story of this world begins to fall into place. What will these latest journal entries say? Will they contain the secrets of the past? And how badly are the players going to misinterpret the lore DM Jazzy Hands tries to drop on them? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

093 - Journal Entries May 01, 2019

Show notes

The party begins to explore the next level of the temple. Flik finds a room full of strange magic devices while Byzdera finds a room full of bodies. Typical. Our adventurers also find a few pages from a mysterious journal, but what little information they contain raises more questions than it answers. What do the journal entries say? Who wrote them? And will any of it matter when Flik accidentally activates the wrong magic item and blows them all up? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

092 - If We Blow Them to Pieces, They'll Be Less Likely to Hurt Us Apr 24, 2019

Show notes

The party rallies after Byzdera's death and revivification and tries again to open the doors at the center of the temple. Of course, to do this, someone still needs to deal with the room full of constructs. How will our adventurers decide to handle all of those robots? Will they come up with a super simple plan to destroy them without endangering themselves? Or will this be Flik's second revivification in a single day? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

091 - Green Eye of Death Apr 17, 2019

Show notes

The party continues to hold their breath as Byzdera goes off alone to sneak past a room full of dangerous constructs and insert the final item into the final door. But what happens when she finds herself trying to fend off a hoard of constructs with no backup? Will she survive her solo fight? Will she have a story to brag about for episodes to come? Or will she finally have bitten off more than she can chew? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

090 - Splitting the Party Apr 10, 2019

Show notes

The party gets full possession of all four objects they need to access the center of the temple. After much planning, they finally decide to take action and place the items in the four doors. Yes, this means they split the party. How is this going to go? Will everything be totally fine and hunky dory? Or will the old maxim of "Never split the party," prove true yet again? 089 - Ollie Apr 03, 2019

Show notes

The party continues their search for the four constructs and is successful...sort of. Bria is vindicated regarding some pit traps they came across long ago, Flik nearly walks into one of said pits, and Kit ends up in some dire cirumstances. What exactly do our adventurers find this week? Will they encounter the fourth construct and be ready to make it to the center of the temple? And who in the heck is Ollie? 088 - The Twinkie Dance Mar 27, 2019

Show notes

The party discovers the source of that aroma they smelled last week, and uses it to terrify the daylights out of Flik. Once they've calmed him down a bit, they continue their exploration of the temple, and make a major discovery. Of course, no discovery comes without cost, and this cost is paid in hit points. Will our adventurers survive the dangers they find next? Will they find another construct somewhere? And what is that dang smell? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.

087 - The Little Bird Mar 20, 2019

Show notes

The party begins exploring the other half of the temple and gets themselves into their first combat. Fights, traps, puzzles, and new robot friends abound this week as our adventurers get deeper and deeper into the building. What fun retorts will the Voice have this week? Will this be the week that they finally break Bria? Or will they finally find a way to get back at them? Find out on this week's episode of The Last Refuge.
