JJS#108 - The Perfect Mall Day Sep 01, 2022

Show notes

Josh recently had a show in upstate New York and had a lot of time to kill beforehand. So he decided to hang out at the local mall and, boy, did he get into some dorky, Joshy hijinks! There's go karts! (Where he maybe saw a kid die.) An arcade! (Where he definitely made people sad.) And VR! (That made him sick.) Enjoy Josh's retelling of his perfect day at the mall! (That he, of course, got lost in.)

(Don't worry, there's no gore. Just judgement.) Josh talks about the man from his hometown that considered himself a "bobcat whisperer", Logan talks about the strange relationship he has with his girlfriend's dog, and Josh complains about the pigeon that rides the train with him.

JJS#106 - Gym Stepdad Aug 11, 2022

Show notes

Josh has some grievances about people at the gym. They're all trying to get too big and he finds that to be ridiculous. But not because he's little! That's definitely not the reason. Anyway, Josh tells stories about a guy at a gym that was continually disappointed in him and some lifting buddies who made some strange noises. Logan doesn't really go to the gym so he just tells a story about his dog. Then, Josh recalls an epic battle he had with a bathroom spider.

JJS#104 - Josh & Logan Get Heatstroke Jul 28, 2022

Show notes

Josh and Logan recorded this episode on a 98-degree day in a room without air conditioning, and things start to get a little weird. There's garbled sentences, general exhaustion, and Logan chokes on water. They're doing great. Josh also talks about the time an ice cream truck broke down in front of his house, Logan talks about the football practice that almost killed a teammate, and they discuss a bad restaurant review (eventually). They also give some advice on flirting in the mailbag segment despite having fully liquified brains.

Josh & Logan are performing stand up in Philadelphia July 28-30 at Punch Line Philly! Get tickets at https://www.livenation.com/event/vvG1FZ951unwVF/josh-johnson

JJS#102 - Loose Soda Jul 14, 2022

Show notes

Josh and Logan are together in New York and sitting way too close to each other. Josh tells Logan his theory about NY getting more tense and then tells a few subway stories that don't really prove his point, but are still quite strange. They also talk about a recent Uber ride they shared that, in retrospect, was kind of dangerous, Logan surprisingly does a lot of chatting on an airplane, and they get asked for some relationship and family advice in the mailbag.

If you're in the New York area, join Josh & Logan for a live podcast recording at Union Hall on July 27th! Get tickets at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-josh-johnson-show-podcast-live-tickets-368381156957?aff=odwdwdspacecraft
