Show notes

Back in episode #110 we read an email from a listener named Anna who went on a date with a man who loves feet. Like...REALLY loves feet. It's like a soap opera filled with kinky people. Many of you submitted this mailbag epic as some of your favorite moments of 2022 so we compiled the complete journey here in what we are calling the Gentleman Saga!

Includes clips from episodes #110-Chicken Caviar, #111-Snow Cone Soliloquy, #115-Punching Produce, and #119-Joshy Gets Done Dirty.

Show notes

Here's a bonus holiday episode as a gift from Josh and Logan! In the spirit of gift giving, Josh is telling stories about the worst gifts he's ever heard of! And we're not just talking bad ties, we're talking about people trying to give concepts, wild animals, and drugs. Can he ruin Logan's Christmas with these hilariously depressing stories? JJS#124 - Holiday Mailbag, Blah Blah Blah Dec 22, 2022

Show notes

Josh and Logan are wrapping up the year by digging into listener emails and, as always, y'all throw some curveballs. They find out about a subreddit made in their honor, remember local commercial jingles from their childhoods, and read some reviews about opposite coasts of the U.S. They also enjoy one woman's buckwild journey on a dating app involving scams, the military, and Hurricane Sandy.

JJS#123 - You Did Teeth Wrong Dec 15, 2022

Show notes

This episode goes all over the place. Josh and Logan cover severe weather, secret families, runaway brides, Josh making a kid cry at the doctor's office, and young Logan's super messed up teeth. And somehow it all kind of ties together. Just another day at the JJS.

JJS#122 - The Trouble with First Ladies Dec 08, 2022

Show notes

The main question of this episode is: Is Logan's memory ok? He's having trouble remembering the name of a public figure and Josh is deciding to be a bad friend and not help him out at all! They also talk about Josh's wardrobe issues, a spectacular internet comment, and... seriously, what was her name?!

JJS#121 - 2 Porta 2 Potty Dec 01, 2022

Show notes

This is a direct sequel to episode 117, "Porta-Potty: A True Crime Story." In that episode, Josh and Logan accidentally created a movie about a serial killer with a messed up digestive system and asked the listeners for sequel ideas to that movie. As promised, they read the emails for proposed sequels and it's a doozy. Not only are the ideas great, but they draw from various corners of the Josh Johnson Universe and the show begins to collapse on itself in spectacular fashion. If you've never to the Josh Johnson Show before, you may want to start with a different episode because you are about to be hip-deep in lore.

JJS#119 - Joshy Gets Done Dirty Nov 17, 2022

Show notes

Josh is having a day. First, he has launched an investigation into the off-putting way his dinner was delivered. Then, he's uncovering an embarrassing, sports-related story from his childhood. Poor guy. Josh and Logan also talk about the embarrassing side of conspiracy theorists, phone minutes, and the dreams crushed by Air Bud. In the mailbag segment, Logan reads the conclusion to the foot fetishist date saga...
